@DieselCrawler86 That and also they might have some tilt to help with the cornering of the machine...Its been a few years since I have been around on that old.
A good caliche soil and clay mix, great for a ranch rd. Good job. It is a 12 F model , right? I have been on heavy equipment since the early seventies. It is a non -articulating type, same as the Sixteen you use. I like your videos, thanks. That looks like north central Texas to me. I began in San ANtonio in much the same soil conditions as shown here.
Here, you would need to build ditches first, throwing material up onto the road surface, so it's higher than the surrounding terrain.... If the soil is heavy clay, it would need to be dug out 8-10' deep, and replaced with a sand & gravel mix...
Top unit old lady still going .love it
Nice old grader.
It must be very satisfying doing a good job grading a rough road to make it OK for vehicle traffic. Keep up the good work.
Cat diesel power .. never get old
Esse ronco das 12 é uma coisa linda de ouvir.
I like those old wrist breakers , they will run for decades .
A former boss of mine called it a knuckle buster
Best thing to make a good road during the winter :)
that grader is doing a good job

@MrYammyb2 I'd say thats a ditch off to the side so water can flow off the road. then i guess he is packing the road in

@zman4ish To counter act the side drift from the blade. He has the wheels leaned the wrong way.
yes very good machine
please overlook my ignorance, by why are the front tires/wheels leaned over to one side?
what was the 'V' cut off the side and driving back and forth about at the end there?
Proper drainage and compaction.
👌👌👌👌
@zman4ish Looks like the king pins might be a little worn.
No, you are able to tilt wheels in both directions.
how many machinerey do you have
has his tires leaning the wrong way
Ya I noticed that
why are the front tires angled to a side like that?
counteracts the pull from the mouldboard when its angled left or right
Just did six miles of our camp road with old 12 .Don't look anything like that! !Can drive 30-40mpg on it.
Have you ever thought of upgrading to the more modern 12G
that grader hardly even sounds like its working.
