Braveheart & Gladiator are two movies which make men shed tears. Also the theme song from Gladiator (Now we are free) & theme song of Braveheart (featured in this video) are alone responsible for half of the whole world's Man Tears.

For me it's Braveheart, Gladiator, Last Samurai and Dances with the wolves as an ultimate "how to be a man" guidence.
We played this to my auntie's funeral. She died at a young age of 40 to an unfair battle of cancer and left two young, beautiful children behind. She was like a mother to me and this song felt like home as she was/is a scotsman

This track reminds me so much of my first wife. She was taken away in 1994. Whenever I see Braveheart it reminds me of her. I keep thinking of the moment when William Wallace is beheaded and he sees his wife and they are reunited. If that happens to me on my death then all the pain I have been through since the day she left will be worth it.

He authored the film sound tracks of Avatar, Braveheart, Titanic, Enemy at the Gates, Glory, Cocoon, two Star Trek movies,
Legends of the Fall, A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13, and many others. Rest in peace, James Horner. You made a better world.

My grandfather came to America from Glasgow Scotland. Never asked for a thing. Became a proud American. My mother went to Scotland and found the home he was born in. I have soil from the yard. The theme from Braveheart was played at her funeral. It was beautiful!
We should never forget the great composer James Horner! I was very lucky had about 20 minutes alone with him. With talked about how he composes music. Wow! My lost dream now. I was praying the James would write the music. For the story I am writing. R.I.P. James! You wrote the music to my favorite movie of all time! BRAVEHEART!

Thank you that was a wonderful surprise. I wrote that my great-grandmother had William Wallace and Robert The Bruce handing in her living room and told my brothers and sister all about them. Most could not understand her but we understood her as that's how she spoke to us as little children. I have thought my two girls about them as well. So happy you said something it made my night!

The theme brings so many old memories. Watched the movie in Moscow with my ex-girlfriend. Her parents worked for the air force. Going to her home needed to pass a gate with a machinegun on the sandbags.
