- I had an amazing day fishing at Wolford Mountain Reservoir in Grand County, Colorado yesterday!!! I explored the lake a little this time. Sometimes, I just enjoy a good hike with no time limit. Just frolicking free in areas that I haven’t been before. By doing this I felt a freedom that really can’t be described in words.
I found some beautiful spots to fish. Yes, there are some amazing fish there. Some of these fish had incredible markings. As I hear the splashing sounds of each fish, while I’m reeling them to shore it takes me to a different time and place. As if I was having a hypnosis session with a psychologist.
I found a little bit of me here, and I left a little bit of me here too. I’m sure you know what I mean. Life is always beautiful!!! Let’s make the World a little bit better, one Fish at a Time!!! Keep on Fishing!!!

Yeah, you should go back!!! The pike bite isn’t as good as it used to be there. The population has been cut down.

The moss isn’t too bad there. There are lots of boaters and jet skiers.

What's the advantage to the slinky weight over a slip weight ?
I use it when there are lots of rocks on the bottom of the lake. It helps decrease the chances of you getting snagged.

I usually fish by the fishing access right by the highway. Only a few cars may park there. That’s where I would start.
