I only took food and mess into the consideration and being a private college obviously VIT has a better service and food infrastructure. People have to calm down I just felt nostalgic bcoz IIT madras and VIT Vellore has same demography because of the same location i.e., Tamil Nadu thats all.
@@TK_CL tbh VIT follows FFCS(Flexible education system) which makes it upto students either they want to study well or not and relative grading makes it more competitive and hard for the students to boost the grades. Also, VIT had the highest placement of 1 cr + and average placements of 8-9 lakhs. Which is as good as any IIT (except top 5 IITs including Madras and BITs) so yes VIT is not as good as top 5 or may be top 8 IITs and BITs but it is no doubt way above than other IITs. Don't forget there are 23 IITs and not all of them are good thanks to the reservation. You can also take NIRF ranking into the consideration (which are unbiased and given Govt only unlike NAAC)

I wanted to be an engineer and May be try for IIT. Ended up doing MBBS and become a doctor with family pressure. Came to USA and did triple specialization but seeing such videos gives me a feeling what my life would have been if I had taken The engineer route.
Shame on those students who opt for higher studies outside India after the completion of their course at the IIT's...afterall they must remember that they had used this facilities out of the tax payer's hard earned money in this country..

A lot of of my friends who went to IIT, have their own companies and are doing so well. Yes, there are a few in India also who do well, but everyone here in US who is highly educated does well.
