I have black toe. Now to be fair, I am overweight, unfit, and I have circulation issues.
I also camp and hike regularly, stub my toes routinely and recently came back from a camp where my boot didnt really work with my new super thick thermal socks.
Now I have black toe and every time I try and seek help on the internet they are telling me its diabetes, melanoma under the nail, or cancer.
About fifteen years ago I stopped looking for medical help on the internet because every time I did I would get told that it was probably cancer......possibly AIDS.

These are preventions not solutions to a black toe nail
Good point. However, the toe nail doesn't actually turn black. If the nail bed is injured the nail will most often fall off with time. You can have a podiatrist or chiropodist remove the nail for you. Minor injuries will heal on their own. You'll have to let nature take its course.

Nail polish does not cause black toe nails. Is that what you're asking? Or are you asking if clear nail polish is able to heal the toe nail? Nail polish can cover up the bruising under the nail for you if you're not happy about the aesthetics.

Thank you. These are all solutions to prevent future black toe nails. Once you've injured your toe you'll just have to let it heal or let the nail fall off and regrow (if the nail has separated from the nail bed). It's not the nail that's black, it's the bruise under the nail that makes it appear black. As with any bruise icing is recommended to reduce swelling. You may also want to elevate your foot to improve blood flow to the toes and feet. If the bruising is very bad you may have your doctor relieve pressure on the nail by draining the blood underneath. Pain killers may also help reduce the pain.

Your toe nail may fall off if you continue to injure the nail bed with ongoing pressure, but if it doesn't hurt, or you can work through the pain you can go train.
I have two toenails that are black reddish under my toenails and I have been having them for a while where my nails already grew out and it seem it moved positions and it started to get a little bigger.

It could be due to an injury to the toe, but I recommend having it checked out by a doctor just to be sure it's nothing serious.

It shouldn't affect the nail, as the nailbed hasn't been injured.

You'll have to let the damaged blood vessels heal. Eventually the damaged portion of the nail will fall off.

Is your left foot larger than your right foot? Even though the toes may not feel squished there may still be pressure on them, causing the nailbed to bruise.

Stubbed my big toe then somehow did the same with the other and now both nails are purple

May have been an ad before the video. There is no spray to help with injured toe nails.
Two of my toes are kinda black, but only half of them, not entire nails. They're also placed in the side.
I dunno how to fix them, and I don't wanna remove it, because I hate pain.

If it's due to pressure or injury and the causes are removed the toe will heal on its own.
Well it just happened i didnt stub my toe and its like grey black so i think its fungus

Once the bruise heals, the nail should look normal again.

You have to let the bruise under the nail heal and ensure not to wear footwear that's pressing on the nail, hence cramping the toes.

When I was playing soccer I had my nail already a purple color, but when somebody stepped on my toe and then I realized when I was kicking the ball it was difrent I felted blood, but I didn't really cared because I still kept playing, so when I got home I realized that the blood already busted, si I went to the hospital and they told me it was fine but it's kind sensitive and we'll could I still play sports? Soccer this happened like a month ago and on April is soccer try outs could I still play

Is the toe clearing up at the base though? It can take up to six months for the nail to grow out.
Could back toenails cause arthritis?
Not likely, as arthritis develops in joints of the body, and there is no joint located below the nail.

The nails turned black, the top of my feet felt like glass cracking, then my knees ad hips went soon after. It’s been 2 years that changed my life. I’ve decided to retire because of the pain.
