Hey Simon, I hope you're doing well! I’ve been loving your videos-they're very inspirational. I have a few questions and hope you don't mind. Do you have any tips for spotting clothes that have been altered? Also, if you find out something's been modified, would you still list it? And when you do list modified items, do you use the new measurements or the original label ones and just mention they've been altered? Sorry for the long-winded questions! Hi Dave, Thank you so much for the kind words, I am so pleased you are enjoying the content, Great few questions, maybe I will do a video on it in the future. In regards to knowing if something has been altered that is fairly difficult to spot unless its blatant or if you carry a tape measure (I Don't). I will still list if in good condition and it's a good alteration. There are a lot of answers about the measurements but I personally will put the New Measurements in the title and put in the description it has been altered. @@BenAttwood-j6m hi Ben, thanks again for the message, yes you are right I charge £3.97 for all my orders, some times it’s cheaper sometimes it’s more expensive. Usually the £4.99 order will have bigger margins. I’m regards to the profit margins, I try to buy things that will have a good margin after all my costs, postage, VAT, taxes etc. it all about knowing the numbers,. This becomes easier when you are more niched into something. Hope that makes sense Simon
Also, have you ever thought about printing the picking list from eBay? I do and you can organise it by SKU numbers. It also has the title of the item next to the SKU!

Hi Daniel, thanks for the kind words I appreciate it and pleased you are enjoying the videos. I do have a markdown strategy. After 90 days I start to reduce the price usually 10% then at 120 days 20% 140 days 40% then I will put on an auction for a few cycles if it doesn’t sell then I will then try and sell at a pit sale or cash for clothes. Hi Simon great videos I have been researching brands to look for on Vinted but it’s the style within that brand I struggle with to understand what has a good STR or not Vinted search will only go so far in niching down on the search you want How do you find out good STR on clothes items to snipe to eBay Thank you
Hi thank you so much for watching, I am very happy to share as much of my process as possible, unfortunately when it comes to to tax and returns I leave that to my accountant. Every. 3 months I have to send my eBay report for my VAT returns and once per year I send them bank statements. They then file everything with the HMRC. I use a company called Boffix who are set up for resellers. Hope that helps and good luck for the future Simon
