Yeah the audio sounds strange, and it's harder to follow bc the show audio is often muffled and the subtitles are blurred.

No, you don't stop at Season 6 or 7. There are huge issues with the last two seasons, especially the very last couple episodes, but it is still very enjoyable and you should watch them all. Don't listen to any scoobs that say don't even watch. That's ridiculous. There are some big letdowns, but still very entertaining. It goes from greatest show ever made to just a really good show, at the very end.
Books are older than TV show. (1991-1996) They are similar in early seasons but diverge as some changes for TV also change plots. When there is a long time between books and TV seasons you get more speculative content and references to back stories. (InDeepGeek channel has excellent content after you have completed GOT and want to know more or have questions.
As one who started this very late in 2017, it really helped to view a map. (It does look like a game board.)

Forgot what day it was & was so happy when I realised I could sit & chill with laughs with you guys. Seriously how invested you are is so fun to watch! How stressed out you were over Arya & Sansa was heartwarming. I think lord Baelish realised but one thing I’m sure you will have noted so far is Baelish has his own agenda will behave accordingly. This episode is where you start your see the conflicting sides of characters such as Theon & the hound. Watching Tyrion smack Joffrey in the face is the most satisfying thing ever
There are good moments in the last season, you should plan on finishing it.
Alfie Allen (Theon) is the younger brother of British pop singer Lilly Allen. She has a song from over 20 years ago about her little brother Alfie getting high all the time in his room.
I definitely recommend that you watch the History and Lore videos after each season. They help to explain a lot. You guys are catching on much better than most reactors but those videos will give you a whole lot more history to the stories and help explain a lot of the motivations people had for things that have happened. They are interesting too because they are narrated by the actual characters telling the histories of their houses. I wish I would have known about them when I watched the show as it was airing.
An important thing to remember about Baylish (Littlefinger) is that he hoards information until he can use it to his advantage. Simply exposing Arya in front of Tywin wouldn't have given him anything. Waiting until he can get something from it and then making up a story about he found out about her is the best tactic for him.

I COULD BE WRONG. idk. they are the ones doing the reactions, they are the only ones seeing the reaction videos, and they are the ones saying that their reactions to histories and lore are not worth watching. if that’s the case, so be it. i still love their reactions, but in a way that makes it sort of worse. i’ve watched tons of reaction channels over the years go through the entire show, and these guys are easily top 10 without a doubt. I just think that it’s a bigger loss for someone as good as them to not react to the lore vids than it is for some mediocre reactor who can’t even barely keep track of character names (asia and bj) to ignore the lore vids. You’re not gonna put 87 gas in a Ferrari. you’re gonna give it premium. i feel like these guys are ferrari-level GOT reactors and i’d love to see their reactions be the absolute best they can be. That being said, if they say their reactions to lore videos are absolute dogshit, then i have no choice but to trust them and respect their decision. Their reactions still get an A either way in my book.
@@NiKiMa023 they did, and i hope they are actually doing that. i just would like for the fans to decide for themselves whether or not the reactions suck. Also, i feel like a lot of doors for dialogue would be opened between the fans and the guys where the fans may be able to explain things and bring things to their attention that they may not have fully caught or understood (excluding spoilers, ofc).

I've been watching many ppl react to this show and for the most part they didn’t share many of our strong feelings about the final season, so you guys might be ok. I still think there would be some things you'd probably be annoyed by tho
I think the first two episodes of S8 are pretty good actually. It’s the rest of 8 that starts falling apart.

It’s a case of take the final season as you want to, try not to be influenced by comments. Some still like it… I’ve seen many worse endings to shows but because this show was a global phenomenon every detail is picked apart. Unfortunately the showrunners and exhausted production crew couldn’t continue

Also got to say whilst the last season is not the greatest it’s not as bad as some say. This is what happens when the producers (whatever) get sick of what they are doing but also the author of the books hadn’t. (Hasn’t?) even finished the story. …..it lost its way & was wrapped up in a careless rush.

Theon continues to show he is a petulant child, easily manipulated and foolish, who gives no thought to his actions. He and Joffrey have much in common.
The encounter between Arya and Littlefinger is interesting: all I can think is Littlefinger recognized her and kept silent for reasons of his own (and not likely good for Arya) or he just saw what he expected, a young cupbearer and paid no other attention to her. They say the best way to hide something is in plain sight.
I think the reason Ygritte wants a fire has nothing to do with white walkers or wights, it is to signal the other wildings as to their location. And there is no doubt she would kill Jon Snow given the chance.
The Hound rescuing Sansa without being ordered to makes me wonder if he has a thing for her.
I was with you up until the last sentence. I think the Hound feels bad for Sansa, and it bothers him bc he's not used to feeling bad for anyone, so he goes back for her when he sees she's not with them.
@@JC-gn7lq Just speculating. From what I have seen so far, the Hound appears to have no kind feelings for anyone except her. Given her obvious precarious position, could he be her protector? You just never know...
Yeah... I have to disagree with you about Theon. He has a lot to be upset and conflicted about. He makes bad decisions, but they're all completely understandable, and he doesn't enjoy cruelty like Joffrey does.
Also, your comment on the Hound... there is zero basis for that.
@@mclizzard2928 Theon's problems are all of his own making. He was raised by the Starks more as a close friend than a hostage and used that closeness to try and instigate Robb to react like he would, rashly and without thinking. He returns home acting like a horny hound, assuming he would be greeted as the second coming, and then pouts and acts out when he is questioned. His father is obviously a jerk, but his reactions are those of a child, same as Joffrey. And I never said he is cruel, just an easily manipulated child.
As for the Hound, I was speculating, not making a firm statement. I find it interesting that he has acted different toward her. One insightful act was giving her a cloth to wipe the blood away when Joffrey had the clown Ser Meryn hit her. Now that slime is truly a piece of work.

Just watch for yourself. You’ll form your own opinion about the last season. I didn’t hate season 8. There were some good episodes and some not so good. All in all, Game of Thrones was and is still the best show ever!

It would be great if y'all watch every season, but ngl the writing does go downhill significantly in later seasons bc the showrunners got bored and decided to fuck around instead of hiring people who would take the job seriously.
Also, did y'all turn on Rickon after the walnut scene? He's like 5 years old and trying to figure everything out for himself bc no one will give him straight answers. Bran is the only family he has left as far as he knows, and he's busy being Lord of Winterfell. Rickon's scared, confused, and angry bc from his perspective, most of his family up and left him behind, then his dad was executed, so he doesn't really expect any of this to turn out well, but he's a child so he can't do anything about it. I might smash more than walnuts if I was in that situation.

Dont' believe this season 8 trash talk. The expectations WERE SO IMPOSSIBLY HIGH at the time it was impossible to meet them and please everyone. Its so good all the way through - trust! I liked the ending. Plenty of people liked it - the haters just never shut up about it. If you think its wild now - it just keeps getting better and better - trust. Loving the rewacth with you all.
