Ever used the guides Knot. Take your line, run it through what ever you are using, pinch a loop, wrap about 5 times, then run the bitter end back through the loop and pull closed. The knot will lock. Great for every use. You can even tie line to line, like braid to mono or fluro.
I have that same tool made by Boone you don’t need that expensive one. The one you have is just fine too. It does what it’s supposed to do alrighty Steve you have a good week.
I remember watching one of your videos and you was tying a snail knot and talking about keeping things simple because you hated all the tackle and making things complicated. You’ve crossed over. I always thought the crimped setup looked more professional or at least made it seem like someone knew what they were doing
no, I didn't need the float on that rig, Robbie. When the high skys are like that means high pressure, and I always run some with floats and some that have no floats to keep it on the bottom for the ones that are stuck to the bottom.
This is a brilliant idea. I’m terrible with knots and I have just purchased the crimps and crimping tool and I’m done with knots. Thank you

Thanks Steve for the video!
Can you use a no roll sinker (the ones that slide up and down your line)?
Thank you Steve.

Real nice.
Will your custom monster rod be back in stock on the Tanglin with Catfish site anytime soon? Been checking it weekly to see if they will be restocked.
They are called in line torpedo sinkers
