- God’s law and grace are mutually exclusive alternatives. You cannot benefit from both. We are not under law, but under grace. We cannot be under both at the same time.

That verse should be read "we are not under the law (of sin), but under grace". if there is no law there is no sin and therefore no need for grace. The Law and grace work together to establish our relationship with God. Grace is God's love for us, obeying the Law is our love for Him. Jesus said "if you love me keep my commands". Thats why He preached the Gospel of the kingdom which called people back into obedience to the Law.

God's grace is sufficient to cover our many individual sins but in no way means that His description of what is sinful is no longer true. I believe it's possible to be perfect, if we allow ourselves to be led by the holy spirit, something a number of fellow believers dispute. The holy spirit doesn't sin, so if we only think and do and say what he thinks, does and says we will be perfect. The thing is, none of us does this. Which makes the grace of God so necessary. However this doesn't mean that what God called abominable in the law is not still abominable, and to be avoided if at all possible. We hurt ourselves and others if we fall into the trap of allowing sins because of god's grace.
Perfection according to the Word is just maturity in Christ..

Have you ever considered that there are more than one law talked about in the bible ?
In the gospel three type of laws are talked about :
1. The laws/commandments/instructions of the Father ; which includes all the covenants ; these are instructions to righteousness ; that is why when the man asked Jesus , what good things shall I do , that I may have eternal life ? Jesus said , " KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS " .
2. The law of the mediators ( law of Moses and the law of Christ ) , which is a sin sacrifice law of atonement through a priesthood , to recover you when you transgress the laws of the Father ; remember , the covenants are between the Father and the covenant people ; the mediators intercedes for the people ; they can not change the covenants .The mediators ( Moses and Jesus ) gave the laws of the Father , but when you transgress the laws of the Father , the sin sacrifice of atonement comes through the mediators , under a priesthood .
The law through the mediator Moses ( sometimes called the law of Moses , because it came through the husband/protector Moses ) was the blood of the animals and oblations ; which was carried out by the Leviticus priesthood . This law was the law of works , not of faith .
Romans 3:27-28 , " Where is boasting then ? It is excluded . By what law ? of works ? Nay: but by the law of faith . Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law " .
The law of faith ( sometimes called the law of Christ , because it came under the husband/protector Jesus Christ ) is the blood of Jesus Christ through faith ; Which means that you must repent of your sins with a sorrowful , like king David did , and believe by obedience ; that means keeping your mediator ( Jesus Christ ) commandments ; which are the same laws/instructions/ commandments of the Father .
In Hebrews 7:11-28 , the priesthood of works ( Leviticus ) was replaced by the priest of faith ( Melchisedec ) .
Moses was the mediator of the Leviticus priesthood , and Jesus Christ is the mediator of the Melchisedec priesthood .
All laws comes from the Father , but he gave the mediator laws , as the husbands/coverings/protections for the people under the covenant with the Father .
Jesus Christ lived a blameless life , without sin , so he was not worthy of death ; he died not for himself , but the sins of the world .
Most people do not understand that this death is a free gift for ALL MEN
WHO HAVE EVER LIVED ; which is the sin of the first death , THE GRAVE .
It is your faith in Jesus Christ , by repenting and start obeying his commandments , which are the same as the Father , that free you from the second death , THE LAKE OF FIRE .
Jesus like Moses gave the laws of the Father , and like Moses a sin sacrifice when through the mediators , through a priesthood ( law of works or animal sacrifice and oblations through the Leviticus priesthood ; And the law of faith or blood of Christ through Melchisedec priesthood ) .
To serve the Father , you MUST LIVE BY FAITH/SPIRIT .

Jesus Christ , in John 12:44-50 , stated that any man that hear his words that he will speak in the Father's name and not believe , the same words will judge him in the last day ; which is the great white throne judgment .
You believe/hear/know/have faith/trust/follow Jesus Christ , when you obey his commandments ; which are the same laws of the Father .
Moses told the people that the prophet would give them what they desired at Horeb or Mount Sinai .
What did they desire at Horeb or Mount Sinai ?
The ten commandments that the God of Israel spoke to them , and all the statutes , judgments , and covenants that Moses wrote in the book of the covenant ; because the people were afraid to hear it from the God of Israel .
Finally , the gospel did not start when Christ came in the flesh , but the gospel is from the beginning ; which are the words of the Father .
Hebrews 4:1-2 , " 1.Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

I agree that we are under grace and not law. We will keep the law by walking in the Spirit. I also think that this preaching can be dangerous because he seems to minimise sin and also God's word. Without scripture we are hopelessly at sea- it is inspired by Go dand profitable for instruction in righteousness. I see so many Christians living lives full of sin and having very little knowledge of God's word- they are comforted by these kinds of messages and refuse to check their map. I used to cling to this kind of preaching so I could cling to my sin. Truth is we are lead by The Spirit but the Spirit will lead us to keep the law. If we do not keep Christ's commandments then we are not in Him and do not have life.
There is a way that seems right to man, the end therof is death. We need both the Spirit and the map to discern these things. The Spirit will guide us in reading the map and in understanding it. To say that scripture tells us to depart from scripture- which is what this message can be interpreted as saying- is a self-refuting argument. All scripture is given by God and profitable for instruction in righteousness.
@Nickolas Nothing, if you consider the Law, then it's wise to remember what God did in the wilderness against those who confronted Moses and Aaron.

gifts where as the law and works are means of pleasing God (after) you received the Spirit of God otherwise they
are dead performances

We indeed are not saved by our works but after we are saved, the proof or indication of our salvation is overcoming sin through total obedience to God’s law. Among other things, yes. Also about religious, self made rules.
The law was given to show that we were all sinful. The holy spirit led person will not sin but none of us is holy spirit led 100% of the time. That's why we all need the grace of God. There's no way we can save ourselves otherwise Christ would not have needed to die for us. God gives the spirit to the same group of individuals to whom he has given the gift of faith. It's all God from start to finish so no one can boast.

Those who are doers of the law, are not under [the condemnation of] the law.

Law and grace are mutually exclusive. You cannot be under both. .you are either under the law or under grace. Romans 6:14, tells us for sin, will have no dominion over you, since you are no long under the law but under grace. It is not our good works or by our own abilities, it is not by keeping a set of rules. Sin shall not have dominion over us because we are no longer under the law but under grace, which is a gift from God and not earned through our good works! Keeping rules does not make you righteous. He is misinterpreting Paul. How many laws are mentioned in Romans ? ...7 ! . The law that christians are not under that he quoted , Paul is referring to The Law of Sin . So when Paul's says were not under the Law but under grace . Paul is referring to the law of sin . . Brothers and sisters the Apostle Paul has been misinterpreted by the gentile churches . You are correct , people do not understand that more than one law is talked about in the bible .
In the gospel three type of laws are talked about :
1. The laws/commandments/instructions of the Father ; which includes all the covenants ; these are instructions to righteousness ; that is why when the man asked Jesus , what good things shall I do , that I may have eternal life ? Jesus said , " KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS " .
2. The law of the mediators ( law of Moses and the law of Christ ) , which is a sin sacrifice law of atonement through a priesthood , to recover you when you transgress the laws of the Father ; remember , the covenants are between the Father and the covenant people ; the mediators intercedes for the people ; they can not change the covenants .The mediators ( Moses and Jesus ) gave the laws of the Father , but when you transgress the laws of the Father , the sin sacrifice of atonement comes through the mediators , under a priesthood .
The law through the mediator Moses ( sometimes called the law of Moses , because it came through the husband/protector Moses ) was the blood of the animals and oblations ; which was carried out by the Leviticus priesthood . This law was the law of works , not of faith .
Romans 3:27-28 , " Where is boasting then ? It is excluded . By what law ? of works ? Nay: but by the law of faith . Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law " .

Romans 7 explained :

When we use the word law , understand that the bible talks of three types of laws .

Who was Paul ?
Romans 11:1 , " I say then , Hath God cast away his people ? God forbid . For I also am an Israelite , of the seed of Abraham , of the tribe of Benjamin " .
Paul is an Israelite ; and the Israelites are the only nation under the laws of the Father , because they are the only nation to have made a covenant with him .
The Gentiles are grafted into the covenant of Israel .
Because the children of Israel were breaking his covenant without repenting by faith , like king David did ; in order to not kill their flesh/body , he gave to them through their mediator/HUSBAND , Moses , the sin atonement for the flesh , or the law of animal sacrifice and oblations , under the priesthood of Leviticus .

16As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
The apostle Paul is talking about the two sin sacrifice for atonment , when you transgress the laws of the Father .
You must understand that there is more than one law .
In the gospel three type of laws are talked about :
1. The laws/commandments/instructions of the Father ; which includes all the covenants ; these are instructions to righteousness ; that is why when the man asked Jesus , what good things shall I do , that I may have eternal life ? Jesus said , " KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS " .
2. The law of the mediators ( law of Moses and the law of Christ ) , which is a sin sacrifice law of atonement through a priesthood , to recover you when you transgress the laws of the Father ; remember , the covenants are between the Father and the covenant people ; the mediators intercedes for the people ; they can not change the covenants .The mediators ( Moses and Jesus ) gave the laws of the Father , but when you transgress the laws of the Father , the sin sacrifice of atonement comes through the mediators , under a priesthood .
The law through the mediator Moses (called the law of animal sacrifice & oblations , law of works , circumcision of flesh for sin , schoolmaster , whole law , law of sin and death , and sometimes called the law of Moses , because it came through the husband/protector Moses ) was the blood of the animals and oblations ; which was carried out by the Leviticus priesthood . This law was the law of works , not of faith .
Romans 3:27-28 , " Where is boasting then ? It is excluded . By what law ? of works ? Nay: but by the law of faith . Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law " .
The law of faith ( called the law of grace , law of faith , law of liberty , circumcision of heart/spirit for sin , law of righteousness , and sometimes called the law of Christ , because it came under the husband/protector Jesus Christ ) is the blood of Jesus Christ through faith ; Which means that you must repent of your sins with a sorrowful , like king David did , and believe by obedience ; that means keeping your mediator ( Jesus Christ ) commandments ; which are the same laws/instructions/ commandments of the Father .
In Hebrews 7:11-28 , the priesthood of works ( Leviticus ) was replaced by the priest of faith ( Melchisedec ) .
Moses was the mediator of the Leviticus priesthood , and Jesus Christ is the mediator of the Melchisedec priesthood .
All laws comes from the Father , but he gave the mediator laws , as the husbands/coverings/protections for the people under the covenant with the Father .
Jesus Christ lived a blameless life , without sin , so he was not worthy of death ; he died not for himself , but the sins of the world .
Most people do not understand that this death is a free gift for ALL MEN
WHO HAVE EVER LIVED ; which is the sin of the first death , THE GRAVE .
It is your faith in Jesus Christ , by repenting and start obeying his commandments , which are the same as the Father , that free you from the second death , THE LAKE OF FIRE .
Jesus like Moses gave the laws of the Father , and like Moses a sin sacrifice when through the mediators , through a priesthood ( law of works or animal sacrifice and oblations through the Leviticus priesthood ; And the law of faith or blood of Christ through Melchisedec priesthood ) .
To serve the Father , you MUST LIVE BY FAITH/SPIRIT .
Jesus Christ did not bring you his words , but the words that the Father gave him .
Deuteronomy 18:15-19 , " The LORD thyGod will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee , of thy brethren , like unto me ; unto him ye shall hearken ; According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly , saying , Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God , neither let me see this great fire any more , that I die not . And the LORD said unto me , They have well spoken that which they have spoken . I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethen , like unto thee , and will put my words in his mouth ; and he shall speak unto them all that shall command him . And it shall come to pass , that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name , I WILL REQUIRE IT OF HIM "
Jesus Christ , in John 12:44-50 , stated that any man that hear his words that he will speak in the Father's name and not believe , the same words will judge him in the last day ; which is the great white throne judgment .
You believe/hear/know/have faith/trust/follow Jesus Christ , when you obey his commandments ; which are the same laws of the Father .
Moses told the people that the prophet would give them what they desired at Horeb or Mount Sinai .
What did they desire at Horeb or Mount Sinai ?
The ten commandments that the God of Israel spoke to them , and all the statutes , judgments , and covenants that Moses wrote in the book of the covenant ; because the people were afraid to hear it from the God of Israel .
Finally , the gospel did not start when Christ came in the flesh , but the gospel is from the beginning ; which are the words of the Father .
Hebrews 4:1-2 , " 1.Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Romans 6:14 , " 14. For sin ( 1 John 3:4 , " 4.Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law " ) shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law ( blood of the animals ) , but under grace ( blood of Jesus Christ ) .

The new Testes is also hearsay since these letters, 'gospels' and stories were written by the loyal faithful, the camp followers,
not by objective historians at that particular time,
or by any contemporary writers,
and these tales were written many years after the supposed events of this mythical Jesus.
There is essentially very little evidence of a Jesus in real documented history.
A couple of spurious Roman reports, and all the rest anecdotal.
...but more importantly ...a jesus' existence is not an issue!
A jesus is irrelevant without a god!
Then, many of these stories, but not all, as many were not chosen,
[ There are more than just four Gospels but only these four were agreed on ],
were compiled for one self-absorbed converted Roman Emperor in his Nicean Council,
for his expressed purpose of conquest
and
control of the people of Europe for his Holy Roman Empire.
He recognised that this was the perfect religion/mythology for the future domination of the populaces.
Half of the stories were ignored by the Nicean Bishops and none have been proven to be based on fact.
This 'Bable' book is backed up by absolutely no facts and no evidence.
It is not proof for any god(s) ....(or of any jesus as a god...)
The fables are intertwined within historical places and people...
eg Egypt and the Pharaohs existed,
whereas Moses and the Exodus did not happen...!
It is a historical novel
ie A book of fiction...
