This masterpiece was released 3 years ago and the part “Though I know it will crumble, I’ll probably build a sandcastle again” And now after 3 years, Hanbin built his sandcastle again, him releasing various album and doing world tour. Im so proud of him 🥺🥺
and he didnt build no little sandcastle he's building a mansion. proud of him as well after everything he has been through.
B.I @ Hanbin had xplain bfore tht "illa illa" has no meaning , but can b used to represent the sounds of the waves washing over the sand. (Mind u tht he's a poetic Rapper😅)

Hanbin is not only an incredible musician he's also a timeless poet, a magnificent healer using music like a heaven-sent theraphist, not only he makes super relatable lyrics, sometimes it even seems like he's telling a story about your life.. he's gone through tons and for him to still be able to pick himself up and not giving up on music that alone is already a blessing, not everyone have the courage to continue when the world seems to go against you but here he is still achieving and winning.. i really just hope artists like him gets the recognition they truly deserve, these days popularity overshadows talent and skills but i know one day everyone will know THE GREAT KIM HANBIN..
also the tragical lyrics in upbeat melody, its contrasting but it is the unspoken formula of his music, meaning there's always a positive side of every pain.... there's beauty behind the ugly.. there's light after the dark, YOU KNORR LOL....
not my life bro chilllll. i was wondering. i mentioned on another comment it be making me feel guilty dancing to a song thats super sad but i think that is the point. he doesnt want you to feel necessarily his sadness and pain he just wants you to listen and understand what it feels like to go through those experiences so he keeps the melody fun. Look i want to sit down just to ask him a bunch of questions about his music
This album is a gem. All his struggles were pure and relatable. Those years have been hard for him and all his fans but we got through it together.I am so proud of him and also myself.
you can feel this album being raw and stripped of everything from it to deliver a very vulnerable album. aint easy to do something like that at all

His 131 Label....131 says B.I in Numbers, the 13 is a B and the 1 is the I.....I remember I commented on his SoundCloud when he was in hiatus begging him to come back.... First I said sign with Psy P-Nation.... Then I said f no B.I you a genius producer you don't need anyone else you need to sign yourself to your own company 131 Label. I don't know if he read my comment.... But he did come out as his own boss with 131 Label. That's why I got goosebumps and cried at the end during credits when it said his real name.....Hanbin Kim .......131 Label..... Gave me chills..... Also he never uses Hanbin in his music.... Usually B.I, so you know it was a personal stamp that he was here now....The Kim Hanbin was back
gave me chills reading this because of B.I using his own name now. No longer a stage name. An album about vulnerability stripping away all the labels and presenting himself to us as he is. i was curious about 131 label and now i cant unsee the B.I in 131. dope that you messaged that and it literally what happened. i would of cried too.
The Korean title is haebyeon which means beach. The English title illa illa is not a real word but for Hanbin it conveys the sound of the sea. Visually, especially if written in script, illa illa also looks like waves

this is my fave song of b.i. illa illa means anything but for me its like a lullaby. i really can't explain but its something comforting.

"illa illa" looks like a 🌊 and it basically means beach in korean.
You should check out B.I's very first comeback and it's a charity album MIDNIGHT BLUE. WATERFALL is the debut studio album, every song is worth watching and listening, it's like all his thoughts and feelings were expressed to this album. Waterfall album is his comeback album after his 2year hiatus, you know, because of a dr*g issue that he was involved in. He came back making music because of ID"s(fandom name) support and love to him. Sorry if my comment is all over the place.

Really, one thing about Kim Hanbin is that he is really a good storyteller, and at some point in your life, you also experienced what he was talking about in his songs. That is why most people really connect to Kim Hanbin's songs. I hope you can dig deep into more of his songs. Thank you
when i got that i was like bruuuuuuuuhhh aint no way i would of thought to use that analogy. It was so dope to put it in that perspective because its relatable but in words it really makes you aware that we share similar experiences when we cry. He speaks from his perspective which feels like he is also walking in our shoes

Waterfall album is a no-skip masterpiece and came from B.I's journals/writings during his forced hiatus after he had to leave iKON and the darkest period when he even thought he should never do music again.... And he didn't know how to come back and how people would react... Had no agency... Nobody in the industry wanted to do business with him or give him a chance again...I mean he did get a ton of hate and ppl wished him hell and to never come back to the industry. That's the time with Burning Sun and Seungri and YG were the most hated by The whole of Korea and then B.I 3 months later they wrote the most horrible things about him. I mean even Lee Hi and Epik High got hate in their comments for featuring B.I, before he came out with Waterfall
dang.... You can really sense in this album and music the vulnerability being expressed. Not coming from a place of hate but a place of expressing how he is feeling in hopes for people to listen. B.I really has gone through alot! This song was beautiful from beginning till end. the hook hooks you in but you can feel the different levels of expression in his voice

This is song is very memorable to him and to his IDs. This is also one of my faves but actually, I love all his songs, his discography is non skip because they're all so good. Btw, I didn't notice you at first but the voice and the way you talk is somewhat similar so I had to check the account name and I was surprised it's you haha. You shaved your mustache that's why, but nice seeing you with that clean face, you look younger.
