You normally have in these fandubs for Transformers it be based off contemporary Cullen's voice, which with age has added that gravitas and seriousness to Prime's voice. With the context of them being aliens and not being exposed to the dirty, double meanings of some words. I would jump straight to questioning Cliffjumper on how he knows these.
Clearly he's just spent more time than most Autobots digging into the human lexacon, not just getting surface meanings, but also slang terms. If anything he's right on calling out the other Autobots on not putting enough effort into localizing their names in a way that won't confuse the locals.

Then a fan did a google search on the term and reported back that the name was already in use for a vibrator
Hasbro had the name changed to Nexus Prime not long after.
