Please focus the camera and hold it still.

I've got an old out-of-focus camera and the video was made 8 months ago. Other videos will be better. I can't afford a better set-up. It is what it is now.

It would be interesting when you get to build it or another silver aircraft, how you get a good finish. Starfighters always amazed me at how an aircraft could fly with such thin / small wings.

I remember hearing/reading about someone bumping their head on the leading edge of an F-104 and getting a nasty cut. On this example, the fuselage is metal but the wings are white on top and light grey underside. I will probably use aluminium colour paint for the fueslage with silver highlights of panels to break it up a bit.

My next silver aircraft will probably be a P-51. I have to decide how much I try to get the fuselage looking polished. There are buffable enamels, which start off dark grey but they smell quite nasty and are messy. The wings themselves will do with regular 'silver' paint.

@@Payne2view There are normally different colours of silver on the jets, I remember seeing blues (heat marks) on the back end of a super sabre.

Is this a new tool kit Rob?

Not sure Ken. It may be a re-box of an earlier tooling. It looks clean enough though.

@@brianc1701 Well, I'm happy to say it still looks good for its age.
