after watching Jay(better sax) I decided to buy a ammoon soprano sax... I did not go for the Slade one but the gold lacquered Ammoon one... also got it from amazon as they have a 30 day returns policy... arrived in three day and I checked it over and everything was tight and in place leak light showed no leaking pads,,, the G# key was a little sticky but a few wiped with a pad cleaner and it was fine. cork on both neck pieces needed a little rubbing down and cork grease... played good out the box and the mouthpiece was playable but I got a Rico b5 and that played even better... checked with a tuner and both octaves very good... over all I have a nice playing Soprano sax for £211.99 but the assurance if it did not play well I could retune it, it a keeper....
@@IsaacCP9 search for "glory saxophone alto" on either Amazon or Ebay for your country. i am in Canada so i bought it from amazon.ca, it was 250$ canadian dollars. i think it was this one (no longer available): www.amazon.ca/Glory-Professional-Saxophone-Cushions-DIRECTLY/dp/B00OET2ICG/ mine was impeccable, i inspected it with a leak light and everything it is in sublime working order. sadly i have a very fragile front upper teeth and i realized i cannot play much sax because of this. so i am stuck with mine.
Weird, I searched hard, but the prices seem to doubled since the last year :-O Is that right? I am unable to find cheaper than 270 USD even on ebay/aliexpress...
Hey Bill, the video has been shot, but it’s still getting edited.. a mixture of a few technical glitches on my end and some time pressures this time of the year! It’ll be out this week 😊
@@SaxTuition have you all got those sax you've ordered? That particular seller you've chosen on Ali sends item late. Thank you to all interesting content you've made and more success on your channel.
You go cheap, you get what you paid for! However, If you honestly want to learn to play a real Saxophone, Then can I suggest actually starting with a Yamaha Student Saxophone!! Similar to Selmer, but a third of the cost!! I know, because I've been playing a YTS 61 since 1974!! And that was the closest that Yamaha ever got to the Selmer MKVI sound without having to pay the exorbitant price for one!!
