i used to think the song had something to do w irina (for obvious reasons lol) but in the end, i kinda just treat it like it isnt about anything or anyone in particular. i view it as a song that just describes general vibes and themes you can find in the series as a whole, which is also how i interpret clockwork lullaby 1 lol
