Matt glad you are happy with our old Harley ! It was meant to be for you to have it. To many similar things about your Dad and my husband. Sure sounds like they were the same.He loved watching you Dad ! Enjoy and I am sure Dale and Eric my late husband are both proud of you and Keith being such awesome sons carrying on the dream !

I came there once years ago but I didn't have enough cash to get inside. They let me look around outside but they said if I was 65 I could get in but I was only 64 then so I never got in. Tim came out and talked to me though. I was traveling and got to my bank the next day but never made it back there. A dollar short a day late and a month early. Now I have been paralyzed and can't walk anymore. I wish I could go back in time to Wheels thru time. I would have loved to see inside. I watch the shows and I can walk again

Man, the shop, the museum, your look, the voice, and the knowledge were all setting bells off in my head but I couldn’t put my finger on why it was so familiar. Then I saw your father and it all made sense. OMG THATS DALE’S KID…! he was hands down my favorite on AP and such a wealth of knowledge with so much passion it was infectious and I don’t even ride man. It saddens me deeply to learn of his departure however it makes me ecstatic to see that he’s passed the torch to you and that you’re keeping the spirit alive. Many blessings brother and you’ve got a new sub. So stoked I stumbled onto your channel!

Me and my son are making the ride to the museum this Saturday. His whole life as a toddler and little boy (he'll be 11 next month) we would always go to the Harley Dealer and he would sit on the bikes with me and we would pretend we were on a ride somewhere. Well last July I made a lifelong dream come true and i got a Harley. Its an 03 wide glide. We absolutely love riding together and when I told him about wheels through time he said dad we gotta go. It's only about a 2 hr ride from us. we are both super excited about it.

@DanBeanner-zo3ms right on brother. I honestly love my wide glide. It handles really well and doesnt feel heavy at all. I had 0 issues adjusting to it. Youre right about cant stop with just one lol. I'm actually going to look at a sportster 1200 tomorrow to build a chopper out of with my son. Good luck on your project and keep er on 2 wheels.

Dale, we had the pleasure of meeting last fall at the swap meet in Davenport, Iowa. Years back before I realized the joy in having an all original motorcycle, I built a 45 from scratch. I bought a basket 1968 engine from the St. Paul, MN motorcycle escort service for $80. I then proceeded to build a complete two wheel 45 bike. I am sure parts are from many years but it is probably the only two wheel 1968 45 cu in motorcycle out there. And you know why. That being said, maybe it's time you built a 45 cu in bike for the yearly give away. Hear me out. I think half your viewers/visitots are old geezers (like me), and kick starting a knuck or pan gets tougher as we age. A 45 on the other hand is way easy and while they are not good for rode trips, they are beautiful for around town (when it's not to hot out). So please think about it. Maybe you could even find the fan I seen on a MN state trooper bike that mounted to cool the cyclinder off.

I don't know how in the heck I never subscribed to this channel b4.. I have been a huge fan since the restoration show.. I just absolutely love your dad. The time, care, and passion puts into and exudes from him when fixing these bikes is un- measurable. I go back to seeing the grinch when they measure his heart and the magnifier explodes as his heart just grows and grows that is your dad to me.. Just an amazing man saving one piece of iconic motor bike memorabilia at a time.. We appreciate you and your father as fellow bike connoisseurs and gear heads we we out here thank you for all you do and will do.

I have been following You and the museum for a long time. I appreciate what you do to preserve the past. My Dad was a tt flat track racer. He was a factory racer for Harley and Indian based out of Dothan, Alabama Dealer. When i was a child we still had a TT 450 Indian, part's were scarce and once the few nos parts were gone it sat, he slowly parted out most of it. I even put the front end and exhaust pipes to put on my 160 Honda Dream and Suzuki cafe with fiberglass tank, fenders and frame. People in our area used to bring Hartley's would being them in boxes and he would rebuild them from scratch. He even modified the magneto from an F104 airplane for a Harley on one.😂. Appreciate all you do.!

Hey Brent, I just bought a 66 nova wagon, needs work, just sanded the surface rust off the body and put a coat of primer on it, your video gave me a few ideas on the best way to do it...enjoyed the video...Ralph

Your father has taught you well, very enjoyable watching you work your craft, with your buds.

Indeed, it's really quite enjoyable to watch him work. wish I was lucky enough to learn under him. Even though I'm actually older than he, at 47... I would still feel like a young child, grabbing wrenches and watching over his shoulder at his every move. Asking why to each and every thing he does

WTT is a definite bucket list place to visit. I loved the two days I was there. Matt is a great guy.
I rode 936 miles to get there, and it was totally worth the trip.

I thought I would die laughing. "I would use a stick before I used a Champion spark plug!"
I haven't heard that one in decades.
