I shed a tear because I remember being a new player by the time the MOFO update occurred. Like I started DB around Fall 2016 then became a serious player after the MOFO update. I miss the game and I wished it had more consistent content and the merit of the gameplay at the time.
Hell, it was one of the few FTP games where I did grind for all the characters so I could complete any challenge the devs would have and for me to mix up my team comp.
Then the Competitive Update, the Boat/Turtle Update, and then the end of the game when Hunter was added.
I miss playing Thunder and annoying people with his flashbangs.
this game had potential to be one of the best f2p games

After all the FPS games I've tried, this finally is my number 1 shooter game of choice.
Its got everything every shooter game has. Its not Pay2Win. Dedicated developers. Awesome community, and what I mean awesome is the community is not a bunch of kids & self proclaimed "pros" unlike CS:GO. The balancing is top notch. I cant even find the perfect merc or loadout. And Im glad its not all that cartoony & really encourages teamwork unlike Battlefield which has classes but still tons of lonewolfs & and they wont care about you. Its not other games which is trying too hard to be realistic and gimmicky. Doesnt have cheap looking stuffs like built by a 14 year old emo. The physics for a free to play game is top notch. This game is no shit. Thank you Splash Damage. Just an honest opinion, not begging for your attention, developers.
0 Mao 0 Same for me. DB is becoming my favorite shooters. I like them, but killing is too damn fast. With DB I'm happy to pump my enemies with lead for about 3-7 shots. It's nice to know fights dont just end in 2 bullets

I decided to give the game a look with this new patch. I got flashed so often I couldn't tell if I was getting the objective or a facial!
Dirty bomb has done the smart thing and has comes back from the brink of losing all it's players with these new updates :D Nicely done!

Looks pretty fantastic! Though in terms of performance, the issue for me personally was never FPS, it was more the fact that it still felt jittery or stuttery despite having high fps, probably due to the large fluctuations. If that's been fixed, I'll be even happier!
