Here's a bio:
Name: Viper
Health: 100
Speed: 430
Abilities: 1: Flash powder, like a flash grenade this powder stun enemies for a short period of time.
2: Able to see through walls for 5 seconds.
Special Trait: This merc could be able to wall run enabling him to get to places quicker and sneakier.
Weapons: Primary: This merc could have a bow/crossbow with different ammo styles e.g. Normal, Explosive.
Secondary: Silenced pistol.
Melee: Katana maybe even throwing knives/stars.
Merc background: This monk of the cult of serburus was banished for going against his code. Once banished he found a group willing to take him in as long as he kills without mercy and of course he accepts... For that is what he does.

You know, I see where you were going. And I like the idea, but getting a wall hack for 5 seconds is a terrible idea. If the idea for stealth were applied to a sniper like class though, it would actually be pretty good.
+sonicj polygon A bow is also considered a weapon. If they have a revive gun that can snipe enemies, then they should have at least a bow or crossbow. Overwatch also has guns, and bows.
+TheRagingUnicorn We call that first ability Thunder's concussion grenades. He isn't in the game yet though. Also they aren't releasing any new mercs aside from the ones that were available in the Closed Beta (20 I think?). And we're at 17 right now so... yeah. By the way, the name doesn't make sense because it is completely unlike the merc.
Let me rework it for you:
Name: Viper
Merc Type: Recon
Health: 100
Speed: 440
Ability: Throwing Shuriken that deals 50 base damage and 15 damage per second for 5 seconds. Poison can be cured by a heal. Even 1 health point is enough.
Weapons: KEK-10 default primary, Selbstadt. 40 default secondary, Kunai default melee
Background: Viper's time in a Chinese street gang toughened him up for sure. Then he made some pretty wrong choices that ultimately led him to be kicked out of his gang. It was a tough life for Viper for the next 10 years until he traveled to London seeking a career in chemistry. There, he learned many methods of making the right chemicals to kill just about anything. He applied this to what he already knew of knives within his time in a gang. When the Dirty Bomb incident occured, Viper saw this as a chance to test his new-found weaponry as a gun-for-hire. He still has the tattoos that identify him as a member of his former gang, and that he should not be messed with.
I'm gonna play this merc just for the voice...

Definately a reference to Lazarus from Evolve. He has a revive glove, a healing burst and one of his skins in called the Pheonix skin.

Are people seriously complaining we're getting another medic? Out of all the previously shown beta characters, I wish Thunder would get released so Rhino isn't the only viable weapon specialist/meatshield pusher but I'm guessing it's easier to balance out a medic-class, which would help encourage more players to keep one in their rotation because pub games are honestly lacking medics, even if they're not the easiest to play well with

+Screamingthinman Sometimes I see a fair amount of Auras or now Sparks now that she's in rotation, but they don't always know what they're doing; they'll wander off solo or go full-Rambo even though they're super squishy. The worst is getting too many Vassilis or Phantoms who wander off objective to keep their K:D maxed, or when Rhino was in rotation, seeing nubs trying to minigun across the map only to get headshot within seconds

He also has the crotzni for those people that still think the crotzni is the best. (not me though, for me its the kek. But I have a gold nader and sawbonez with the crotzni so I use that a lot. Not a bad weapon at all even after the nerf)
crotzni is nice too. I have gold phantom with crotzni, but with no katana :(
dezenterrier no katana? That sucks, it took me 6 bronze cards and 1 silver to get a katana loadout for phantom, I dont even own him. I just wanted to own a loadout for him

The healing pulse isnt that good though, the good things are his kek/hochfir and his self revive atleast those are supposed to be his good things.
Everyone who isn't new to the game will know about his self revive and will gib him immediately. At least with his healing pulse you will have the the ability to boost multiple people's health at once.
I know, but that instant health boost isnt that good. And yeah I know people will insta-gib him. Atleast I know I will, the opposite of nader. Never knife a nader and always finish a phoenix.

Heard rumors his pulse is weak...even if they buffed it I don't gonna be the power of Bonez's medpack.
+Amunenraulus Pulse might be weak towards individual targets, but it's a combined force of Aura's AOE capabilities and Sawbones mobility. It's an in-between the two standard medics. I feel like the self revive is a bonus overall, all other medics just get 1 special ability + Defibs while Pheonix gets 2.
+R0flcake Yeah but Aura's will blow it away if she is smart and doesn't place it out in the open to get destroyed...plus the fact is it has a cast time to have any real affect...and you have to stop firing to cast...where all you have to do with Bonez is drop your gun for a second and toss down a pack
+StudioUAC it isn't a rumor, you can see in the vid that a 3 second heal charge only heals for 80, and a 1 second charge heals for about 15. Its only good if you can heal 3 or more with one burst, which is unlikely.

Looks a bit underpowered.
Mainly that the healing pulse is weak. Long cooldown for a decent heal that requires you to equip it instead of a weapon for several seconds.
This is like sawbonez but better. I mean its like a 360 degree influence of large healthpacks.
+JCthe Spy They don't heal as much, and sawbones can heal 3 people fully one after the other at a longer distance. Also the charging makes you an easy target to be killed before you can get the heal off, and you quickly find it infuriating as players run away from you as you try to heal them.
So much better than sawbones, right?
Oh and hes got less health :D

Yes, i think that does sound better actually. Obviously, aura's healing stays around, and she has the Remburg which is absurdly powerful. The main weakness of aura is the set up time for the station, and Pheonix still has to charge up his heal, but at least he can move around while using it.

His heal is far worse. Long cooldown (15-20s) to heal similar amounts to Sawbonez's medkits. And it requires you to equip it instead of a weapon for several seconds, making you both an easy target and offensively useless until it goes off. It also cannot be dropped to be picked up in the heat of battle, nor can it store several charges.
The heal is almost flat out worse.

HeisenBurger Due to the fact I never had the chance to play the closed beta I can't give you a straightforward answer. However what I DO want is for Phoenix to at the very least be a class good for healing more than killing. Competetive match wise he'd be rather as useless as an inaccurate Sparks if he can't heal as rapidly as my expectations.

On a server where no one knifes, except that one guy who only does it on the players he's pissed at, the attackers mow down all defenders, leaving them for "dead". Then, as all attackers walk away, the Phoenix arises, defibrillator at the ready, and then they suffocate the enemies with bullets from behind.
That sounds awesome in theory, that server isnt easy to find though. I like the servers where everyone knifes, also when they see a nader (muhahahah)
I tried to make it sound like an old legend or folk tale, with a silly ending (attackers get straight destroyed from behind). I doubt this will happen easily.

The skill-cap on this guy is insane. He looks like the kind of champ who will do nothing in the hands of a noob and absolutely devastate people if used properly ^_^
My issue is that people pick him just so they can self heal and self revive. So you have 3 pheonix's on your team but no one is getting revived, and any healing done is accidental
I think they need to add a really fast character that has a good gun and can do parkour like who wouldn't want that a merc that runs around and hatchets everyone.That would be sweet and with him would come a new gun, melee weapon and more plus u should really want to move fast and dodge bullets to
