I'm very surprised to discover that someone keeps uploading new content about Advance Wars 2. I've been playing the game again a few days ago and just got through the normal campaign (and I had never done all the missions before, I used to always skip optional missions). I'll be watching your stuff .
I dug up the game on a phone emulator a year back and it brought back all sorts of nostalgia. I think the game's held up well. I wanted to get 300 S ranks on all levels like my GBA cartridge before I lost it, but I couldn't find many tutorials/videos online, so I decided to upload them myself as I went through it, albeit this time without using Sturm as a challenge, and also because he makes it too easy~
@@Rzaney Getting 300 S on every level I would think would be impossible even with Sturm until knowing how the unintuitive power score works. I used to think the power score was more to do with how many units you destroy over a short period of time (of the course of days).
Had some trouble s-ranking this one but then I cheese'd it really easily with Grit. Just build a million rockets in the starting island and keep destroying his units as they attempt to capture the northeastern base/port in the main island. All of this while sending the sneaky infantry in a lander over to cap the HQ.
For this mission, I prefer playing with Colin and at first, I conquer the southern east island. When you've got more than 50 000 $, the Colin's superpower is very effective against Kanbei
When you understand how power mechanics works and sees kanbei sending free power fodder via transport ship lmao. Just gotta be careful timing against his super. Near impossible to kill his units when it’s up
I appreciate the enthusiasm for such an old game, but I'm not much for competition these days. I wanted to breath new life into the game I used to escape into as a kid after a long stressful day of school (the first game I ever bought with my own money), and like I said in my other comment, I want to upload all these for anyone who wants to come back and "complete" a game of their youth. I'm sure there are some people who'll take you up on their offer over at wars world news, however, so you should definitely check them out!

Thanks, 278 was my highest.

battle of australia
just 1 question.. why did you wait on day 14 to capture the HQ?
Just don't see the advantage of it. Would appreciate a hint :D
I'm pretty sure it was to kill enough units in a single day (the last day) before winning the match to secure the 100 points in Power on the rank
hi, I would like to have a match with you in AW2 ... its really exciting to play with other humans than with a.i forever lol
You probably can't play this game with WI-FI, but I'm not quite sure about that
underrated game indeed

2 years late but you can try Advance Wars by Web.
go search AWBW, you can play with players there, but the matches would take you days or even weeks to finish
