Pro tip for anyone tryna go low on a Miata… get racelands and put extended too hats on them lol. Racelands have no preload adjustment just ride height, and in combo with the top hats they go LOW. - personal experience. Love the vid!
Do not for the love of god listen to this dude. If you absolutely hate yourself and the way your car drives, sure buy race lands. Tein Flex Z and BC are good for max lows.
Realistically though you can’t go any lower than what you are and actually drive down the road. The rear subframe bolts will be non existent within a week.
@@SkuraWeekly I did the exact same thing with the MaXspeedingrods coil overs lol. Bought them realized they didn’t go low then ended up with the racelands. Sometimes you gotta learn the hard way I guess lmaoooo.

You aint low enough untill half the diff is missing. That happend to a buddy of mine, He had a insane lowered mercedes. He drove around constantly rubbing and scraping. After half a year he got a sound from the diff. All the oil was gone because he scraped off the bottom of the diff over time xD. Its all part of the fun i suppose :D

If you scrape in the rear it's gonna be the PPF bolts that hold the front of the diff. Be sure to keep an eye on them if you drive the car a lot, shave through those and you'll drop the diff out the car
Im thinking about dropping my MK6 Golf but I don't know much ab suspension, wheel fitment, and shit. I was thinking about getting some B&R sport or lowering springs but don't really want to make any decisions if I'm not 100% sure on everything. Anything you can recommend for me to start with or to learn?
honestly, I looked up to one growing up on YT and wanted to recreate a similar look. after working on this car back and forth I ended up raising where its just bodykit low and has a good stance haha. the diff blew up and had to weld a socket on the PPF Bolts... NOT FUN lol

Also keep and eye on the sump, mines not even that low and is has shaved off the cooling fins on the bottom, get a skid plate or something

all depends on the ride height you want, Personally think lowering springs are a great option.
