Scott has worked on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line, Happy Meal toys for McDonalds, Pixar, Star Wars, Disney and much much more. Here is a peek into Hensey's techniques, inspiration and amazing office of his toy creations. - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน
Honestly I saw toys I had as a kid and it nice to put a face to the person who made it possible to have such joy as a child.
This guy sculpted my childhood.
It always warms my heart when I see someone making a living doing something they enjoy.
He sculpted my childhood :)
Santa, a big guy with a beard who makes toys. We know who you are Scott, you aren't fooling anyone.
He doesnt know it. But he literally crafted my childhood with his hands. Id like to thank him for that
I love this man. What a magnificent job and what an incredible person.
Give credit where its due, I salute this man and thank him for the memories.
Skill is not something you are born with, it's something you learn. ;)
This is why I love toys.
Thank you for your generosity in sharing your techniques!
amazing, Scott! I'm inspired to make my next series of sculptures posable! you have an incredible imagination!
Love listening to Scott Henley. More videos would be great.
I also loved sculpting faces. I have been looking for a good wax to make figurines for my children's stories, Animals and such. Ive finally simi-retired from my dental lab and would love to get a few sculptures before I crock. I know your desert island tools and have a set of my own. Ive done cartoon characters in clay but I think Wax is my favorite medium. I am lately also learning how to paint with acrylics and have done 13 paintings since Covid. Painting is very fun but i LOVE SCULPTING. Ive only just found you and will try to watch every thing you offer to learn from. Thank you for sharing your gifts. K. L. Taylor
Amazing! I love this series and Scott is so incredible and real considering all the wonderful things he's done with his talent. Please keep the series going!
Simply wonderful! That's a passion for his job, he really enjoys doing what he does

Maybe Ill dig around and display them now.

Snot Nose _ We must keep reminding them that his information and techniques are extremely valuable.

What a great video!
Living the dream.
Awesome
I had a few of those toys when I was young
Amazing! (What's the nesting doll figure at the end? That thing's great!)
I was wondering the same thing. It looks so familiar. I seem to remember seeing it in the toys and games aisle at a K-Mart or a Hills as a kid, but maybe I imagined that. So many of his things have a familiar style and I owned some of his awesome sculptures as a kid.
Inspiring
This guy sculped my hoodie!
3:03 holy cow i still have that
good. i like the vid. very interesting. more like this,
I want to learn this skill!
I've had a couple of these. I want the Pegasus so much though :(
I so beautiful!
Awsome work do you make your own sculpting Tools
Do you show how to use the scraper? is it for smoothing?
Excellent king kong sculpt, my favourite among this man's work, he is very talented,
it's a shame that such talented people are asked to do the more...goofy kids (of 10yrs or younger)creations, that arent any real challenge such as- Bugs bunny, warner cartoon stuff etc.
the best commissions for talented sculptures come from the major Hollywood studios it seems
They also MAKE a thing called a TRI-POD. Cool invention, check it out!
Yeah... I'm not alone XD
Nice guy
Its my dream to do this.
Anyone know the name of the Hawaiian girl statue he has?
Can anyone identify the object @ 2:53? I know it's a pressure pot of some kind but what kind specifically? And what is it's function in this process? Some recommend cooking your wax under pressure but Scott appears to be using a kitchen deep fryer in the other video where he described his wax process. Thanx.
***** Thanks :)
It's for degassing silicone (taking the bubbles out) when he's making moulds.
i always loved sculpting and used to paint alot of tiny metal models...but i honestly dont think i could do that as a job.. especially human faces..i would just go insane trying to get them perfect,lol....and prolly never succeed
this guy sculpted my old king kong figure.....that a woman that worked at my house stole....but it´s good to know the guy who sculpted it =)
So these toys are all of clay?
I want this 06:23
what s the clay
I am Archer, emissary of the Gorgonites.

looks fun, build process could have gone a little more in-depth though
Amazing what comes up when you search; 'Shit Sculpting'.
Snot Nose Hey I agree. But I literally did a search of "Shit Sculpting" and ended up here.
Santa?
Can you make me 2 wwe action figures
Ill
It's a shame that this is becoming a dying art due to technology.
Screw tech. I'll always go old school w it
