I can't tell if their new drummer is trying his own style or his feet can't keep up with how fast the song was originally recorded, but the final chorus he slows down the tempo on his feet and only gets up to the same speed at the end of the verse. Wish he did it the way it was written but can't complain, sounds great!
I'd rather play the flute than be known as the guy who "slows down in the middle of the song to get back to the original tempo in the same verse" I think he just lost the beat for a moment, it happens to the best. The guy is clearly skilled and he obviously spent a lot of time practising, just listen to the double bass at 2:37
