Also: The police system is kind of weird, yeah. If the cop heat meter goes all the way up, the cops will aggro you on sight (same goes for gangs). Once the police is after you, you absolutely have to exit the red zone in the radar/map, or else the game will just say you're fucked and the SWAT/FBI will pop up with assault rifles and mow you down. I think they were going for a quasi-realistic system? To avoid the whole GTA's "progressive" wanted levels with ridiculous levels of law enforcement (armored cavalry being employed). Kind of weird if you ask me. As for gangs: If the heat meter goes all the way up they will just annoyingly pop up everywhere, on foot and in cars, trying to kill you. It's annoying to keep the meters down manually (through fast talking and intimidation), but you can use the menu to bribe cops and gangs, which lowers the respective meters.
I don’t know if you’re gonna play this game again, but: When your cop heat gets too high, they’ll forcefully take money from you in order to pay off the Vice. When your gang heat gets too high, gang members will randomly come after you. When the bar around your map turns fully red that’s when “You Fucked Up” and you just automatically get annihilated by the police.
I can't belive this game is a canonical sequel to scarface. And it's more of a parody of the film then a sequel, yet it somehow works. That's just so bizarre.
I think the difference is that you can tell there was passion and love put behind this game. They love Scarface and they just put it to the extreme for the game.

About the music playing outside the cars, that's actually a feature in the game and I loved it since I could create a playlist of only songs I liked while grinding for cash. It reminds me of the 1st Saints Row and how that too could let you listen to the radio outside cars.
