Okra soup is one of my favourite from childhood. I went searching and found the dawadawa spice on sale in one of the halal shops adjacent to Lewisham market. I forgot to make a note of the shop's name. I'm cooking my okra soup today. Thank you Sis.

I love the fact that you used two different chopped okra. Sometimes, I wonder why my Okra soup appears non-slimming, and now I have got the secret ingredient and I'm glad😃 Best Okra soup preparation video I ever watched on YT.

You aced this, looks so yummy. Ogiri okpei is not the same as dawadawa. Dawadawa is great but like you said okpei is a game changer. The difference is in their shape and flavour. Dawadawa is flat round while ogiri opei is shaped like tiny balls sometimes rectangular depending on the location you are buying from. Jisie ike nne. I have learnt a lot from you.
