I've never understood why car manufacturers don't leave the dash as hard plastic on these economy cars and use the soft touch materials on the things ppl will actually touch like the door panels...no one is resting their arm on the dashboard
I got one for my Christmas present from my husband. Had it a week and it's so much larger than the 2004 Elantra that I'd had for close to 13 years. It will take some time for me to become comfortable after driving what seems like a much smaller version. I'm still learning all of the new features. The handbook is huge so it will take some studying to learn everything this new car can do. I need a TH-cam video instructing me on the new features and how to access them.

between a 2015 honda accord or the 2017 hyundai elantra, which one is more reliable even over 100k? im getting a new car next month and i'm choosing between those two. looking for reliability more than anything else, but i don't really like toyota's otherwise i'd get one. I've heard honda's have always been reliable, and hyundai's used to have a low reliability rate, so i'm really curious about the newer models that i've heard are better.

Looks nice, even tho the headlights look just like the Ford Fusion headlights and the tail lights look like the previous Elantra tail lights just with Genesis-looking LEDs lol
I thought the last one was rather quite. I rented a 2015 one for a month after my accident and well, honestly the quite ness was about the only thing I liked, well and how spacious it was.
i love the rear lights. the car as a whole looks abit strange propotionally. big back and gradually smaller towards the front. i prefer the more mature look of sonata
Elantra Sport won't be able to compete with Focus ST. It comes with 1.6 turbo and 7 speed DCT good for about 200 HP. It was just introduced in Korea. Early reviews are promising with well tuned sport suspension, exhaust note and peppy 1.6 turbo. It should go from 0 to 60 in about 7 sec. Fast enough, I guess....
Sangmin Lee by compete are you spaking on reliability and sells or just what car faster? Not every person that buys a car a racer or want to beat other people cars. All you mention is speed and acceleration.
Exterior styling is nice, interior is bland and quite dated, shame they have so much hard plastics on the doors, which by the way feel very light weighted. Wonder if the suspension crashes on hard bumps or big potholes like the older Hyundai's, not sure with its torsion beam rear suspension...
compared to the elantra gt, this car has a downgraded engine, far more hard plastic interior, and a cheaper rear suspension, plus it costs lot more, comparably equipped. you can get jetta , civic , or cruze for less with better engines, suspensions, and interiors.
Definitely the best car reviewer out there...hands down...period.

'14 thru '16 Elantra Sport has 2.0 GDI.
'17 Elantra has 2.0 MPI.
