Just did 80 on the highway between Chicago and Detroit round trip. Got 21.6mpg for the trip, 600 miles. Wagoneer 4x4. 5.7 Hemi with e torque. Cruise control not used.
It's only rated 16/21 so it's right where it should be. That is about 1mpg better than a 6 year old expedition was rated, if you needed one there is probably a bunch of used ones on the market right now that would be a better deal than spending $55k for pretty much the same thing.
Can you do a cx 9 mpg test. I see you have not done one yet and i am really looking into one since they are one of the few 3 row quality built suvs selling for actual msrp right now
I agree with you about the sensitivity of the steering wheel when you have the lane keeping assist on. It's like you need a firm grip on the wheel and fight with the system a little bit for it to recognize that you have your hands on the steering wheel. My wife's Palisade's is much more sensitive. I can keep a few fingers on the wheel and it doesn't send any alerts.
Assuming you are using the same mic but this interior noise sounds a lot louder than the Nissan Armada (Infiniti QX80) you did. How was the durability of the Expedition for what ever time you had it for.
Sorry, when one cost more than what I paid for my house, I am not interested. I bought a used 2017 xlt with 34k and paid 19000 for it. I am happy with that. People who buy this are keeping up with the Joneses.
Highly inaccurate considering that fill amount will vary depending on when gas station will decide to shut off automatically. Can vary about +-1 gallon each time you fill.

600 miles on one tank?
We have a 2023 Limited 2wd with 3.73 gears. Just did a trip about 1600miles. Based on hand math, we got 22.11mpg total. Went 70-80mph on the highway.

Great job and thanks
It looks weird with those little tires. Or is it the camera?
It is a nice truck. Pretty much exactly what I want expect the max extra space.
Is this regular or premium fuel?
Regular
EPA is based on a base model which is lighter than your with the options.
When will Ford put a hybrid engine in the Expedition?..
or an PHEV -Plug-in Hybrid with around 50Miles to a charge would be great for me!
489 miles is not 480 miles you stated. 21 mpg for a vehicle that size is great.
Now Using fuel catalyst and getting over 25 mpg in my Expedtion (combined city and highway). I can provide details
What is it?
Lower than I would have thought, especially without a family or any load on the car. Great review though
It's the speed, not the weight.
Lol my dads 2000 expedition and explorer both got 21 mpg
But it didn't have 440 hp.
That's funny I own 3 of the gen 1 expeditions and they all get about 12 mpg.
my 03 expedition gets 18 -13 mpg and cost me 5k, looks roomier also
Premium fuel?
Is this safe to drive to snow?
No. Only lava.

Yeah I always buy them used like 5 years old or older just to save $$$.
People that buy this make more than you

Well you were going at 72 so usually best mpg is at 55-65mph
Do you go 55 on 70 mph highways?
@@DailyMotor no but probably 65 lol
@@jackdangers3292 well know everyone hates you if you do that.
@@ILikeWetVaginas idgaf, right lane is there for a reason. ill go 75 if the speed limit is higher. next question

Agree. I thought they usually did a 100 mile loop which would help the accuracy.
So this is slower than Toyota sequoia 2022
this wasn't a speed test. did you not know this? not watch the video?
What this video a speed test?
I think there was a typo, "lower" became "slower"
Race for money?
Where the topher
Idk man u might catch fire
Premium fuel?
He filled with 87, not sure what Ford says.
@@Masonplays963 my wife just got one. Manual says 91 will yield a little better performance and efficiency, but only really in the summer
Regular gas only
