Mullet enjoy a takeaway as much as we do, even if they’re getting it second hand. I always find that a pinch of vindaloo powder, baby-wipes and some blood in the groundbait bucket is sure to get them on the feed.
earthworms- rain brings out worms, worms get into puddles, water flows down drains, most drain water, in newquay, ends up in the outflow. beef- all those hotels on the horizon have kitchens, kitchens produce waste, little chucks of meat end up at the outflow. sewer mice- not a bait. fluffy white bodies with little green tails. sometimes dozens of them would get their tails entangled, sometimes they'd end up on a hook. is there a metric equivalent of 'dozens'?
The actual sewer pipe is long gone out there, there’s a storm water overflow out there still though that’s pretty active! Any time it’s discharging you see tons of little mullet swimming in it 😆
We are flogging a dead horse. While our water companies are in private ownership, their sole intent is to gain the maximum profit. Our government doesn’t have the balls or the will to upset the shareholders and force them to build adequate treatment plants.
@@HookpointFishingMagazine I fully agree, but at 72 and living in North Devon, there will be no changes that impact my life. We have lobbied S.W. Water, and government for decades and we still have coastal and estuary water that is polluted with raw sewage. Shellfish must be put through UV treatment before it is “safe” to eat, you take your chances with fish. Good luck with your campaign, but at the end of the day you will be frustrated.
We have to remain optimistic. We’ll be on the run up to a general election soon, so it’s important to let all parties know that this is a key point to focus policy on if they wish to win votes.
Brilliant April Fool. Signed and shared with family and friends. None of them are anglers but they’re all 100% behind this petition. Thank you.
Thank you. Felt a good opportunity to grab a bit of attention for a more serious message :).
😂😂
Nothing like mulleting up the dung funnel!!
Brilliant spoof but also an important message.
Dung funnel! 🤣 Thanks Justin, definitely an important issue that impacts coastal waters everywhere!

The magical morning after a curry blend! 🥰 mix in a drop of Guinness for added attraction 😁

We would be fools not to make an effort…
Effort equals reward. No bit of undigested carrot shall go to waste hence forth.

If everyone acted defeatist over everything, nothing would ever be achieved.

@@HookpointFishingMagazine LOL @ General Election. Both wings of the same bird.
