- On different continents, songbirds stand out for their distinctive songs and vocal abilities that enrich the soundscapes of their natural habitats. I've chosen a bird from each continent so that we can vote at the end on which has the most beautiful and different song.

Mocking bird
Well, it's hard to choose, but I think I'll stick with Common Nightingale this time. It's the first time I've seen it.
Oh my. You sure set yourself, and us, for a difficult challenge! I wouldn't have put the mockingbird in this group (I have them in my area & they can develop some interesting sounds!). I would have put warblers in the bunch, robins, wrens, thrushes. The male song sparrow has a nice song during mating season. I love the meadowlark's song a lot. I've heard the Tui bird in New Zealand, & while not really melodious, that bird can trill out a symphony of songs as if he's on stage!---And I've been fortunate to hear a lyre bird at the Toranga zoo in Sydney, who, having listened to the closing announcements so often, could imitate the female announcer's message!
I liked the tips, they're great too.
They all sound beautiful and I don’t want to rate them individually, but I will cast my vote for the Lyrebird as the winner. I think he has the largest repertoire which he mimics to perfection. Plus he seems to put his entire soul into the performance.
This bird imitates almost everything. Glad you liked it.
All birds are more or less equally good in their singing skills considering other things overall,I assume of lots of efforts behind this wonderful video for presenting us freely, the way birds communicate with eachother despite seperated by distance amid other background music is really mesmerizing & fascinating 💛💚💙.
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Most of these birds aren’t in my backyard (NYC), but both our mockingbirds and catbirds, do a lovely copycat mix of ALL these birds on your video
