I know this is off subject but can you ask Uber why it takes 3 weeks to fix a road closure that is open. Have shown them 3 other GPS and a photo of the road open.
If you get deactivated, they are probably doing you a favor. Your beating up your car, racking up the miles, maintenance fees, fuel, taxes, Uber and Lyft are not worth it.
Right, just run away instead of fighting for fairness. How do you think the countrie ended up like this? Lazy vallueless people like yourself.
State of Massachusetts suing Uber and Lyft on status of the drivers claiming they are independent contractors when they are treated as employees and the drivers don't meet the standards as independent contractors by the state regulations.
Just in time, my camera died again... I spent a little less then 350 dollars for the Rexing - V3 Plus Front and Cabin Dash Cam and a warranty from best buy. It died after a little over a year. I got a second for free because of said warranty. That one died too after approximately the same amount of time. I ordered the Display Ride camera and used the promotion code. It was 250 +10 for shipping and 10 dollars a month for the cellular upload. It's a great deal in my opinion. I installed it yesterday and all seems good so far. My initial impression? It's a well-made camera, worry free, stick it to your windshield and plug it in. No memory cards or setting to deal with and footage goes straight to the cloud, also they warranty the product for 2 years and you have live support. I called the support team after the initial install. They were friendly and new the product well. That alone is worth the 10 dollars a month in my opinion. It's a great deal.
I just brought me a dash cam because they had this girl got my car she wanted me to bring her back for free she didn't have a car seat for her baby I made her go get one from inside and when she got my carwhen I dropped off she said you had a beer it was a energy drink Noz and Lyft just deactivated me off the word and I had to send a picture of it and it ain't going to threaten me say don't let it happen again wow I almost quit that day

Got on line in jersey 3pm ish today, got trip request I accepted, and then it took me offline. I hit go and told me i was picking up, and then offline again. Uninstalled, reinstalled, same issue. Called customer service, which I call quick sand, no resolution, so I advised I had reservation yo airport coming up and they needed to get them a new driver. Rep said it was covered, so then I started yo head home, tired of this shit show everyday. So then I get call from uber customer wondering where I am to pick them up to go to airport; I advise I can't pick them up due to offline issue, and they freak out cuz uber has not got them new driver. Grr... They said they will pay me, as they are desperate, so I Google map them, and get them to airport while asking what uber charged. They said 54$ of which I was getting 24.54, so I said 40 would be fine. They gave me 70$. Which just reminds me how jacked we are all getting. So tired of this Bs even though I can grind 24ish an hour knowing the value routes, but that's like working for free in my area. Sad the mngt is a bunch of greedy aholes, as there is a happy medium, available if they would get their heads our of their asses.
how do you know you’re guest is not working with Uber or Lyft what kind of surety has he given he is not working for “the man” I’m suspicious of any developer or programmer talking about helping drivers no dis respect to anyone one the panel. Lyft and Uber programmers are committing spy games through platform both have been accessing my camera and microphone without my consent I did not agree to them having access it was done any way drivers are being violated and are unaware. NO ONE TALKING ANOUT LEAVING but STAYING it no different than domestic violence “stay it will get better” mean while the driver is getting the rocks kicked out if them the definition of insanity doing the same thing expecting different results SMH

What is a gat?
Is the stream encrypted? If I share my strram can a family member always access it or only when I allow? Do I have to use a phone app with it? What permissions are in the app, what about tos? Litereally nothing of value discussed. Only a simple ad.
It is encrypted. Access to footage is through a Self Help Portal accessed via the registered phone (the link can also be used by anyone the driver gives it to).
when I went to my ipone settings ride share app Lyft and Uber then clicked on Siri it showed my microphone and camera were being used by these apps. INEVER gave consent to give permission to access my camera. Microphone access is the ride share app listening to me on or off the platform. These apps are committing espionage.

Agreed... Initial $330 followed by an additional $240 annually. I like how they try to promote $10 is nothing when it is actually $20 per month. Another poor marketing scheme. We do not need another bill and cost every month.
N2 Pro works great for me. One time cost of $220. I store 3 months of video on an external storage. Had this camera since 2018.

BTW- if it takes a while to navigate to product pricing info you're probably in for a surprise, and not in a good way.
You can make up your own minds on this product but IMO you can do better for cheaper.
You get what you pay for. No other solution has rideshare-specific features.
There are some nice features. But the Driver won't OWN anything. They'll be leasing the h/w and s/w from you and the first year costs will be around $500. I understand why YOU like the recurring revenue pricing model but the driver is on the hook for far too much $$$$.
@@johndavidson4210 Incorrect. The Driver OWNS the dash cam; for $ 10/month they get the service, which includes also the wireless costs, cloud storage. That's $ 120 a YEAR. Challenge you to get the features and quality of dash cam for this price (34 cents per day; you wont even get a coffee for that).
NOTE: this is a cloud connected dashcam. Best of all it takes less than a minute to install & requires No apps to download etc. No use of data etc from the driver phone etc. It is also all automatic.
@@johndavidson4210 Yes, the driver owns the dash cam once the downpayment of $ 250 is paid. Monthly payment is only $ 10, and it is for the service (wireless + cloud). For the amount of the video/audio footage we upload wirelessly to the cloud this is unbelievably cheap (for context - typically we upload may be 20 times the data that you do on your phone, and I bet your phone service costs more than $ 10 per month)
First year = 250 + 120 = 370. Subsequently it is ONLY $ 10/mo
$20 or $30 a month? Ha! Get outta here with that nonsense.
Two options: $ 250/10 no contract or $ 125/20 with a 1 year contract
Pros and Cons to dash cam. Go ahead deactivate the only legal American in my region. I guess that's why we are only grossing $9-$12 per hour
