Thank you so much for this message. Thank Jesus. I have been praying that He explains some things to me so I can learn to better control my own wicked desires. Two words: practiced habit. It must be broken.
Luke12:42-48 Jesus said who his faithful servants are and who are not,if he comes back or you die physically, either way, that’s the end of your physical life,if you’re practicing a sin, that’s what iniquity is called he says you’re going to go with the unbelievers, even though you believe all the facts about him, there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth,if you do sin confess it and turn away from it, today’s churches say “when” you sin confess it they are already convincing your conscience you’re going to Sin that’s not from the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit uplifts does not tear down, have an extremely short period of sin in your life. You don’t know when you’re going to die physically that would just show that you are not the true sheep of Jesus Christ, his sheep are faithful to his word to the end of their life in obedience.I never seen that taught in any church that I ever was in and I was in all kinds of churches, they called that works of the flesh,if you obey Jesus,it’s because you love him and trust him that his words are the words of eternal life and if you love him he said you will keep my Commandments. Let the people of the world call my obedience to him whatever they want,I will go to my grave obeying my Lord because I love him and he’ll keep me walking holy through his words,my faith causes me to stick with him
Back in the old days, the Papists AND the Protestants would have snuffed you out for saying such things. Both operations run on the "original sin" fuel. Excellent work, man.
Great truths and thanks Mike! The gospel is so simple, but the wolves and self promos have messed it up by giving us THEIR opinions of what it means and not by being led by the Spirit in order to spread the Word.

Jesus Christ said only a few will find the narrow road and many will cry Lord Lord 😭 He was talking about Christians and so called believers... And today's pastors and Preachers are leading them straight to Hell
I wish I could talk with Mike. I know some evil desires are not a simple choice. King David did say "sinful from the day of my birth, or from the day I was conceived Psalm 51:5. They require a choice, however, a choice to seek the Lord in sorrow and maybe even fasting to overcome a lifetime of sinful habits. Yet Mike was so right that when it comes to repentance from sin, we can not negotiate with God on this, it's the only way through Christ Jesus. I still question that we are not born in sin. However, I do not doubt we must overcome sin or perish!! So we work with Christ to conquer our former sins!! Let me make that clear. We can not continue to sin and call ourselves Christian!! As it is written: GOD'S SOLID FOUNDATION STANDS FIRM, SEALED WITH THIS INSCRIPTION; THE LORD KNOWS THOSE WHO ARE HIS AND LET EVERYONE WHO NAMES THE NAME OF CHRIST DEPART FROM INIQUITY.
@ Rob Wagnon “ King David say sinful from the day my birth” Please read Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was brought Fourth IN iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me. This verse did not say David was in sin . Here is few verses for you to read, if you are truly seeking. Psalm 139:13-15 Ecclesiastes 7:29 Ezekiel chapter 18.
Mike, would you be able to discuss the various sins that will exclude us from Heaven -- the ones named in the several lists in the New Testament -- fits of rage for example? Does this mean when you flip out because the dog chewed up the couch? Or does it mean getting violent and crazy? And reviling? Some of those sins are never mentioned or discussed, ever, and it would be good to know more about them.
We are all called Not to judge each other with any harsh stick but I've been where you been with anger problems. Have deep prayer and fasting and just put it away. You can do it ☺ it's actually quite awesome to just not get angry over those things it's like I'm on cloud nine man
I am not Mike, but my answer is; no, naturally not. A godly person does get angry. And a godly person can also make mistakes. The main thing is that you do not "keep on sinning", (Greek has present-future tense, we have it in my language too, sadly its missing in English) for instance having recuerrent fits of rage is not normal, it may even be some demonic influence (see Derek Prince on this, he changed my life). Mike is spot on in so many ways, but sadly he does not have much practical advise what I can see. It can even sound a bit judgmental when he talks.
Its about the heart. Jesus got angry when he cleared the temple. He got angry when rebuking the Pharisees. He never lost his composure or let him emotion control him. He controlled it. God gave us emotions but we are commanded to rule over it. Anger is one thing but rage is anger given over to selfish desire to act on that anger. I know it was a cheesy saying but What Would Jesus Do? We are made in his image. We can all rule over it. Read the story of him clearing the temple and try to place yourself there with him. Read all the gospels about that story to get the complete picture.
Mike is teaching meat, not cotton candy sermons to make the weak happy. I would also argue most of it is no gospel at all. Leads to no freedom and no salvation unless you repent with deeds that lead to freedom from sin.
So your saying the key is repentance? But isn't repentance just doing the right thing? I mean the only mechanics your teaching is that you have to do good to go to heaven. Which breaks down to works. I mean if you know you have to be perfect to stop sinning then I would think that would be a motivation. What is the good news and how are the pharisees wrong? If we are all sinners then perhaps we need to confess our sins and take note of each others lives to see if they get punished for it
The best message I ever heard. Crystal Clear

Thank you brother Mike for your legacy of teaching gospel truth - you are now assuredly with your Lord Jesus Christ!

Great message! Man has a choice to obey or disobey the gospel!
Wes! If anyone is reading this, know that this man has a channel you can follow that is current, biblical, and the same gospel Mike preaches.

7:23 - 7:32 How does someone get this?

if you have Christ and self control you wont flip out if your dog ate your couch

helium73 he is teaching the truth of Gods word
The good news is that Jesus will cover even our purposeful sins in the past if we humble ourselves and contritely pray and turn away from the sins
Youre arguing a classic Straw-man logic.
It has not ever prevailed inline with scriptures that tell different, then what your view and angle assume.
