I dont have strong feelings one way or the other for the Rep from Colorado, but every day my respect for this Rep from Florida grows. I did not like him when he was first elected to the House, and I have questions about his integrity behind his ego. But honestly, I have had to reevaluate my opinion and recognize that he is likely one of the most open and honest politicians to be inside that building in a long time.
For most of the politicians that I do have a level of respect for, it is through the lens of them as a politician. That is to say "For a politician, I respect them". An example of that would be Mr. Ted Cruz, who I supported in 2016 for his stance as an originalist constitutionalist. I have tremendous respect for Mr. Cruz for standing on principle on many important subjects and doing his best to push important issues to the forefront as much as he can, such as his years of work trying to get Congress to amend the law which social media sites like Facebook use to protect themselves from prosecution while still imposing censorship on their platforms, or being willing to reach out to folks like AOC in the House to try and get more momentum for Congressional term limits.
But thats my respect for him, as a politician. As an average fellow citizen...I dont know. Seems like he could be okay I suppose, but I wouldnt get along with him much.
But Matt Gaetz...I respect him man to man at this point. He doesnt just stand on political principles, he stands on his actual principles as a man. I might not always agree or align with them, but I have nothing but respect for a man willing to risk it all to tell lobbyists and dark money interests to kick rocks.

It’s amazing to me that Mike Johnson is more worried about how history will judge him and not God.
That's a lot of money he could spend on lowering electric utilities under $50 a month for summer time and gas utilities $50 a month in winter time. Lowering gas pumps and lowering inflation. Energy independence and wall plus deportation.
