I can understand your excitement at finding these great puzzles. My daughter and I do mostly thrifted puzzles, and have so much fun shopping for them. It’s amazing, but we hardly ever have an issue with missing pieces. We have two goodwills nearby that have large puzzle sections and most are priced $1.99. I just got a 300 pc Pomegranate puzzle called Dorothy, (Wizard of Oz Dorothy) for 1.99. First one for me and gorgeous quality. No missing pieces either. I also got a Lantern Press and a New York Puzzle Co. Haven’t done those yet. I’m enjoying your haul series!

Love a great deal- I check our local goodwill about once a month and yesterday I found someone had dropped off about a dozen white mountain collage puzzles and I picked up 3 of them for $3.99 each and one was the popcorn one I had just been looking at on line for $18...sweet! I love learning about puzzle quality and new brands watching your channel. Thank you.
I have several new pintoo 1000 piece puzzles and those sets are not typically broken out into separate bags. The 600 and 1200 are, as well as the 2000/4000. I think they have certain "cuts" and the 1000 piece is one of the standards they use. I love the fact that pintoos are usually in separate bags because it makes it easier to complete, so I now tend to stay away from the 1000 count because of the fact that those are not broken up!
if you are referring to unwelcome critters.. I thrift puzzles I open the boxes, and put them in my garage for a few days, I check the box carefully before bringing them in the house, even to the point of setting them out in the sun for awhile.... I also never buy damaged boxes or ones not taped.. I seldom have missing pieces. good luck to you but yes I agree thrifting can be scary..
@@kathylynn1375 I've never been concerned about unwanted critters (maybe I should have been!). I have developed severe chemical sensitivities. Just being around other people who have used hair care and body products causes my body to overreact. Any disinfecting the stores may do is also toxic to my system. I just don't/can't shop in public anymore.

What bargains! Wish I could safely shop thrift shops. I especially liked the puzzle with the anchor image.
