- When you hear the phrase “nuclear armageddon” the first word that pops into your head should be: friendship. The apocalypse offers opportunities to bond with people you never knew existed and creatures you wished didn’t. Unfortunately, not all friends out in the wasteland are built to last. But with the power of mods we can resurrect fallen friends and force them to accompany us on our journey until time itself reaches its natural conclusion. Can You Beat Fallout 4 as a Necromancer?

Can You Beat Fallout 4 as a Necromancer? (in text form)
The rules are dead simple: I can’t attack anything directly, only corpses I’ve reanimated and rigged with string to act as my companions can attack on my behalf. This is accomplished with a combination of modding and console commands. The ‘mod name here’ mod allows you to have an infinite number of companions while also letting you claim any NPC or wasteland creature as your new friend. To bring the fighting spirit back to dead bodies, I use the resurrect console command to bring them. Unfortunately there are some glitches here and there, I installed a few mods to add extra beasts into the wilderness. In the interest of full frontal disclosure, I did go a little too far. UFOs are one thing, but I draw the line at dolphins with guns. Nobody’s evolving under my watch.
Regarding character creation and the finer points of attractiveness, I had in my mind the image of the perfect father. I’m talking of course about Nigel Thornsberry, father of the daughter who can talk to animals in the cartoon. That’s not this video but I used my last good name joke when I named myself NecroMandy in the New Vegas Necromancer video. SPECIAL stats: gotta have Luck of 5 for the idiot Savant. Intelligence all the way down compliments that perk by increasing the likelihood of getting 3x XP any time XP is rewarded. No tricks to gain XP, no magic to power level myself, I’m not a magician. I’m a circus.
Shaun daydreamed about the Great Beyond, the Great War began, I looked great in the Vault Jumpsuit and I emerged from the freezer ready to take the world by storm. For my first act of resuscitation, I chose my recently deceased wife as the target. Fallout 4 runs on a more advanced version of the Creation Engine than Fallout New Vegas did. As a result, mods, console commands, and the game as a whole operates differently. Targets that have never been alive can’t be resurrected. Sometimes you walk into a building and there’s a dead bootable body on the floor. That character was never alive so you can’t use them like a puppet. Nora isn’t really an example of that. She’s single and ready to mingle between dimensions. She woke up, took a step out of the cooler, stepped back inside and succumbed to Lock-In Syndrome once again. She’ll be fine. There are roaches here I can waste 10 minutes trying to lure into an electrical trap to kill them since, as a Necromancer, I can’t attack them myself. Killing them with sparkles is a game of chance, all you can do is stand around absorbing blows hoping a lightning strike slams into one of the roaches. Then, after they all die and you get the Pip-Boy, you go back to claim your prize and they’ve all de-spawned because this is a Bethesda game. The void ate my babies. - เกม

You’ve failed challenges before, gone against your own rules, murdered when murder is frowned upon but I think we all know it’s about the commentary not the game. Love what you’re doing man.
Yeah, people like Paul, and Senza. Are about the commentator and what they're saying, not so much the game itself. More like a scene setter for an improv comedian, the games are merely food for these guys

I just gotta say that I absolutely love watching Mitten Squad, every new video is a great and enjoyable experience.
His videos are getting boring now. There's only so many different ways you can try to play & beat these games without them starting to get stale. I'm tired of seeing him play the same games over and over and over.

@@technothedome6310 He hasn't even touched any games from Bioware. Nor, as far as I know, anything from Capcom, mainly referring to RE games. He could expand his game library with a bunch of different games with fun ways of playing through them. But after seeing him play through Skyrim and Fallout 4 over 10 different times, it gets very boring. It doesn't matter what he does to challenge himself, because it's a simple matter of can he or can he not. Beating Fallout 4 as a necromancer? Who cares.

Hey Paul, I know the chances are slim that you see this, but I love your content it often times reminds me that hardships and challenges are always relatively small after you have achieved your goal and even if you failed, you tried. I often times find myself hating everything and almost despairing in the face of small obstacles, but you make me smile when life is hard and I want to thank you for that.

Here's an idea for a challenge: you start the game normal, but when you kill something, you turn into that thing. You gain their damage and defence etc., but you lose your weapons and armour.

This reminds me of a couple of mods i absolutely love, one that allows you to pick up corpses and shove them in your inventory, and another that is a contraptions workshop machine pair one that will chop up robots for parts and one that chops up corpses into meat, and honestly there isnt much difference between necromancy and collecting corpses to chop up. Both equally unethical, both equally fun! That might be a fun run, how many corpses can you collect on an average playthrough of the main story, and which faction gets you the most bodies for your buck

I have an interesting one, can you beat fallout 4 using mechs you built from automatron.
Rules: You may use weapons or anything you must to beat the automatron DLC if you'd like.
You may not progress the main quest in any way until you have your first mech to fight for you.
Your mechs are the only things able to fight for you in combat (meaning you can't take the mechanist as a follower nor ava, you must build it yourself)
If you want to speed it up you can use console commands to beat the automatron DLC it doesn't matter because that isn't the challange.

You actually don't need to power armor glitch through the wall to skip the gauntlet. You can activate the chain from the other side of the door by looking through the cracks on the right side of the door frame. Then run around the cola cars building to the back and activate the chained door in the bug shack

Imaging Deacon outside Vault 111 seeing the sole survivor emerged to the commonwealth followed by an army of cockroaches. Missed chance.

If any one wants to play this on there own I'd recommend the skeleton race mod that you guessed it lets you play as a skeleton. There is also a mod thay let's you reanimated the pre war skeletons you find around the map.
