Zeljko Obradovic didnt get fired, he is the greatest coach in history of Europe, and one of the greatest all time in the world. Partizan fired the whole team for him last year, its not about the show its about the game. We are way tougher individually.
Jokic is in constant contact with the best Serbian and European coach Obradovic. He is the one who curses the players at the beginning of the game. They give each other suggestions to improve the game of both teams. You two have a wonderful energy. Greetings from Belgrade!
The basketball mentality in Europe is completely different comparing it with the NBA. In every aspect. The European basketball style builds around teamwork, fundamentals, great tactics, understanding roles, passing, helping. You can have a star or two, but the real key to win games in Europe is not relying on them to score, is to create the best play to find an open player and let him finish it. That's why coaches have such an important role in the team. They are the biggest difference between a bad team and a good team. Players have immense respect to the coach, they might be too passionate and sometimes kind of violent, but they really encourage and guide their players trying to find the best play and adjustments depending on the situation. Also the fans are like the 6th man of the team. As Luka says, the toughest crowds are in Serbia, Greece and Turkey, but it could be generalized to all Eastern Europe. The fans from Western Europe (let's say Spain, France and Italy) are somewhat in the middle between US and Eastern Europe, maybe even more similar to the US. Anyways, loved your reaction guys! Some comment said it, but I'll repeat it, the video "European coaches are crazy" is a great example on how coaches can go too far during games. I also recommend some videos from BasketNews, they make great stuff related to Euroleague and basketball in general. I strongly recommend you one talking about a game between Unicaja Málaga and the G-League comp, that game showed how basketball is evolving in two very different ways.
Nice reaction! If you search "European coaches" any result that comes on top is wild content! Roy Hibbert also does EL games breakdown at his channel, not reaction worthy, but good game analysis from a former NBA player if you 're interested in that.
Okay so funny story. I went to Euroleague finals a few times, each and every single one of them had that energy and atmosphere. Fans of the teams that were playing in 3-4 hours were at the other teams' game chanting, singing, all that ish. I was sitting next to olympiakos fan when they were playing their main rival panathinaikos (euroleague deliberately put their fan sectors on the opposite sides of the arena btw) and when I asked him how those games between them go down in Greece, he smirked at me and said "Oh it's nothing that bad, sometimes when other fans are allowed to visit the game, we have a few dead people after those aftegame fights between fans, not really serious". As soon as the game ended, he hugged me and gave me his olympiakos shirt. Somewhere around that time after one of the games I witnessed fans of one team chasing a beat up (and I MEAN beat up, like one shoe left, blood all over man's face, teared up jersey, etc.) through the park with whatever they could use as a weapon in hands. So yeah, we like that over here. P.S.: Also yeah, there is a compilation of coaches. Don't remember what it's called but european basketball coaches should lead you to the one. And I really recommend you to check out videos by BasketNews, they doing some nice work deconstructing some topics like why coaches here have so much authority and stuff like that.
10:18 Šarūnas Jasikevičius was the player himself, high level player, wason our national team and local team too before becoming couch, he know stuff, and know when players are not doing their shit
With these more crazy euro league games as a outside fan with ticket's, wear home team colour's and try and get seats in the more casual spot(it can be hard).
Another one from Belgrade, born and raised, Željko Obradović, yes, yes, the one berating all of Fenerbahçe players, apart from havin 9 EL titles as a coach, also has one as a player 1990 😂 He's a legend with other coaches "stealing" his plays from the early nineties, as he moved to coaching right after his title. Additionaly, not a chance seeing him workin states side ever, there is even a clip of him calling NBA "mafia" 😂😂 regardless, put seeing a EL game on your bucket list, all the best
Check out this video: European would get fired in the NBA for this! By the channel BasketNews Best compilation. Also the channel Basket News covers Euroleague at a high level. As for the coaches, Obradovic (the guy that yells out f u everybody😂) has a really cool story of becoming the goat. Worth checking out.

yea, some Euroleague couches could make nba players cry. imagine an army drill sergent as your couch, he will say exactly what he needs (with healthy dose of expletives) to make you do what he wants. can't take the heat from couch? get out of the nuclear reactor/Euroleague.

That's the video you are searching for.
Absolute gold
Wait wait wait! You guys SIT at your arenas!?
In euroleague the coach’s have the power they should their more powerful then the players complete opposite of nba. One coach fired his entire team.

The fear of " and what about snacks" is telling. Your sports are not about sport... :D
Nothing wrong with treating sports like going to watch a movie. However, it is a lot more interesting when you have some passion in the veins.

10:17 there is a video from BasketNews called : European Coaches Would Be FIRED In The NBA For This…
In America coach is a babysitter, in Europa coach is a father figure
Belgrade (Serbia) has 2.5 million inhabitants, but in terms of game attendance and ticket sales, it could be among the top 10 in the NBA.
Please stay consistant ❤ ur amazing
It would never happen in America. Chants have a maximum of 4 syllables.

The basketball coach is your second father. Army descipline. Period!!!

Europe - clubs develop talent from a very young age, no matter the sport
USA - schools develop talent, and has a draft system
In Europe you disrespect the coach your off the team
There is no place for enlarged egos in European team rosters...everyone is a cog for the machine the coach has envisioned.
"I played in Serbia, brother"
react to : " european basketball coaches are crazy "
Please react to "THE EXACT MOMENT MAX VERSTAPPEN BECAME A MONSTER", you will NOT be disappointed🙏
Those are not open arenas.
