thanks for the review! I suggested these for people I know who are digital nomads. They have used them for years at this point, the pads have not even worn out, and the comfort is top tier. In black they are much better looking but i guess they would not look that good on camera. I bought replacement pads for mine, plan to keep them forever for the comfort alone, nothing comes close until you get to high price points, the exception being the Sivga Luan at double the price. I bought two more, one for a backup and another will be a gift sometime soon. edit: I could be mistaken but I think this was the same driver as the SIVGA PHOENIX so that might explain how the sound punches above its weight.
Very interesting. I have one at work, connected to the computer there - the computer is certainly the limiting factor here, but for there good enough, and wearing comfort alone justifies it. Hearing this I got curious and want to take it home to connect it to my discrete amps.
Thanks for the review. Intersting finding regarding the Amp types vs perfromance. Makes me want to dig out my Sivga Phoenix and give it a try with my DAP's.
Ok, just watched again and ok g111 mk2 is not good for it. Would you recommend a budget om amp based headphone amplifier with either balanced or single ended input?

Thanks for your detailed review - and I'll be waiting for your review and the comparison with the FiiO FT1.

@@G00dH0uR83 we are all waiting for him to start a review channel!

Thank you for this new video.
Lets go for headphones that look good!
Please do reviews for the Aune and Fiio line! Chifi headphones are growing fast and at least the TOTL look interestong.
Do you plan on covering the new MDR-M1?
Hey, what do you think about pairing g111 mk2 with these headphones? I don't know whether the amp is op amp or discreet topology.
