Best video on this so far. Looks good. Just a tip - buy some spray on bedliner in a rattle can for ten bucks at the store. Spray the bottom side of the fenders with it. It will make your plastics indestructible so they won’t flex like crazy and get damaged on a fall.
Great video, one question tho since the fender is not just for looks - the stock surron front fender splashes up rain water onto the front plate or even higher up, does this ktm 65 fender eliminate any water splashing up on the bars?
Hi, could I please ask you for mesurement from triple clamp to the centre of hole? I have different riser so it would help me to complete it better. Thanks
Line up the number plate and use a sharpie to mark where the bolt goes on the triple clamp. That’s how I did mine it just happened to land on the prickly logo.
Do they sell those fender model for different sizes of tires? I'm in Europe so could use the direct shipping link. My one now is huge, won't fit in between and is long as wide AF and looks super not sexy and super oversized 😢
@@SuronBoys i ended up using a 10-24 x 1-1/2 inch hex head slotted machine screw and tapped the direct stem mount for that type of screw. Used two half inch spacers as well to keep it from hitting the wires. Video doesn’t do a great job explaining that so i had to figure it out. Wasn’t too hard though.
@@SuronBoys I tapped directly into the mount for the light. Two bolts, unscrew that from the prickly riser mount tap a hole through it screw it back on. The mount for the light is very thin, so it should be pretty easy to tap.
I just bought husky plastics and am stoked for this vid! If I can’t fabricate my own design, I’ll definitely run this up!

The vid we needed
Dope video man!! Now we jus need a video on how to make them fast like yours cuz your bike rips!!!!
Thanks man! I’ll make one! 🤘🏻
This was dope bro keep it up.
Does it matter if you use the 18mm prickly riser or the 24mm
Both work the exact same. I originally had the 18mm but switched to the 24mm rise.
We’re did you get the rear side plastics from and do they work with the stock rear fender?
I have it linked in the description on my Amazon store. Yah you can run the short or long fender with the side plastics

Yah. It’s wayyy better
where did you get the sticker for the plate without the light?
Viscid Designs , they make Dirtbike graphics. It’s got a KTM 65
@@motomatt224thank you
also how did you get the side fenders on?

Just mark through the bolt hole on the number plate
I have 15mm riser and just ordered KTM plastic, so I don ´t really know if it will work with just 15mm.🤗 Do you think it will be enough?

you need the KTM 65 front fender, the 85,125,250,450 will all be wayyy to big.
Good Job with the front but how did you do the rear conversion? Best regards and keep going!
It’s a grit shift V2 rear fender. I have it linked in the description under “Amazon List”
What size screw/washers did you use when you drilled the direct stem mount? You mentioned a harbor freight kit? Links?
Did you end up finding out which screw/washer to use? Thanks

@@cwangmuzic Awesome, thanks so much. Did you tap the stem itself or the prickly riser?

anyone knows what those rear plastics are? They look awesome - Thanks! :D

Do you think I can pull this off with fox 40’s?
Please make a video of how to do the back side number plates like zay’s
I have one follower using this setup with his fox 40s. Not sure about the bridge hitting the fender, but he has the same setup.
@@motomatt224 Oh okay maybe I’ll try it.
Btw please make a video about the side number plates⚡️🙏😁
Is this a Ktm 85 mudguard? And what year is it?
Thanks so much bro! I'm doing mine with the ktm plate
Awesome bro! 🤘🏻
Damn that looks fire, tempted to do the same 🔥
Send it 🤘🏻
which riser size do I get?
You can get either one. I prefer the taller one. The part you drill into is in the same spot on both options.
Hey, what size is that riser? 18 or 24 mm
Get the 24mm but either one will work
Thanks,
I found Warp 9 stem mount with 20mm riser for very good price. Do you think it could work as well?
Idk what the warp 9 one looks like but I’m sure it would work. Just need some aluminum to drill some threads into 🤘🏻
What forks are these??
FastAce forks. Code “MotoMatt” link in bio
Make sure you get the +50lb or +60lb spring
I’m gonna give it a go with a zip tie first before tapping and drilling 😂
how did it work
Do a how to video how to instal v2 rear fenders PLEAS!!❤
I’ll make one next week. Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you for sharing!
Do I need that light mount or can I just order the stem riser?
You can use just the riser, and run a bigger spacer 👍
I love the look but is there a way to keep the light without cutting the plate
me watching the vid without having even 500 bucks for a surron
I’m just gonna zip tie it. I’m too scared of that tap and die shit 😭😭
