I was the May Giveaway winner from Rocky Mountain MC , and l won a set of those new Tusk tires ! I was skeptical because l ride High speed Southern California Desert stuff. I thought l would destroy those in a couple of rides, but l am thoroughly impressed. Traction and wear is unbelievable ! I am going to buy them again ! I have a CR 250 2-STROKE like yours and thought that the wheel spin you get when always on the gas was going to wear those tires out quickly , but l was wrong .😀
Cameron, Try mounting one side of the tire bead first. Put in talc, tube and air the tube so that it is barely round. Then slip the other bead with out releasing the air from the barely filled tube. Almost zero chance of pinching the tube, and the second bead will slip on easier too! Eddie Great video as always; good job!
Hi, Cameron! I've got an unusual tip for you. When you're getting new tires you can use liquid soap instead of a lube. When its dried up it, tire sticks to the rim. It's additional protection from tire spinning on the rim, it never failed me. Try it for yourself! Greetings from Poland
Those tires have a very soft carcass that allows them to fold onto the ground and get amazing traction. I have used Dunlop, Maxxis, Pirelli , STI and am so impressed with these $ 70 tires !
I took the easy route. Had FasterUSA build my kid’s 03 RM125 wheels. Factory Suzuki yellow rims, red spoke nipples, bronze Cerakote hubs, new bearings and Bridgestone tires 💯👍🔥🔥🔥😎
I was at Honda school one time for a week and the last day was cleanup then the instructor said in going to show you all how to change a tire ...and we all kinda chuckled but he really did show us a better way that works most of the time .so he started with a 21 inch knobby if the front of a CR125R that you could probably chance with your thumbs......but when you sat the wheel down inside the tire to get the valve stem started next time just keep on pushing until the whole wheel is all the way inside the tire ..then all you go to do is peel the bead back on then flip it over and peel the 2and bead back on that will be just as easy as the first ...and to remove a tire pop the bead off the rim on one side then flip it over and pop the bead off just like the first side ..now your wheel is trapped all the way inside the tire ..so by letting the wheel to rest all the way to the side of the inside of the tire with the tire all soaped up just give it a yank and the wheel will pop right out from the inside of the tire and fly right out the side ...until you try this on a sport bike tire with narrow side walls of a 200 x 17 that is as stiff as iron.....but using a 125 wheel looks real easy lol hehehe
I'm going out to day and picking my RM suspensions up from rebuild and upgrade. So i can assemble both of my machines. Hope i got the time to build on of my RM125 frame up like you do.
I've never seen or done it where you put the tube in first and then start the mount. I was always tought to mount the first side and then put the tire in. Just wondering if you have ever pinched/punctured a tube doing it that way or if it actually helps prevent pinching?
I really wish Suzuki would re-enter the 125/250 2 stroke market. They are the only manufacture keeping the pricing honest still in the smaller bikes. Their RM85 is like $2K less than other 2 strokes and it's easily as fast with a few small mods. The RM was always such a weapon.
Another great video! Those rims and tires look amazing together. I am feeling inspired to go change my tires and tunes. I hope you guys have an amazing Independence Day!!!
Those Tusk tires look really aggressive. The rear tire looks like it will hook up good. Devin's HYPER BLUE EVO 8 is Making some serious power. I like your TOYOTA. I watched Austin's channel blow up! I follow all 3 of you, 4 counting Bobbi.
This rm is going to be awesome can't wait to see the finished bike. Great videos always pick up something for when I work on my bikes keep up the good work 👍🏼
Like the how too vids . See you are in WA same here. Just north of Seattle. Have a Tacoma also. 22 off-road Double cab long bed. Ride a 2022 klx300 and a 2012 FZ1 . Watched the wheel truing vid from 3 years ago. Good stuff
Every time I watch one of your videos, I learn something! Dude, put a set of Nerf bars on your Tacoma. I have a 2019 Tundra TRD PRO. Stock Nerf bars are awesome!
I used to have a '16 Taco TRD. Traded in for a '20 Ranger XLT FX4 & never looked bk! Superior powertrain & suspension. T6 frame.. that will be used on upcoming bigger Bronco! New class leader. Not surprising as Ford is King of trucks! Fox 2.0 shocks goin in next. #Ecoboost
Those tires are reasonable priced right now on certain sites (30% off through your link) I like the idea of using the rubber grommet on the valve stem. I think I'll do that when my tires come in next week (ordered before this video otherwise I would have gone with the Tusk)
Hey Cameron! Been watching your videos for a while. My first bike was a 1989 CR250 and now that I have a newer bike I want to do a full restoration... Only issue is parts are really hard to find. Any advice on where to find part (specifically bottom end parts)? Last thing I did to the bike was replace the corroded side case but I had to reuse the really worn out water pump impeller shaft because I couldn't find a new one anywhere.
Hey bro I know u have knowledge about bikes my pitbike has a issue with not wanting to run without the choke on and doesn't idle would u know what the issue would be?

Let’s goooo he’s back at it again. This bike is gonna be a sick OEM+ build. Clean and trick at the same time. Keep it up Cameron!! 👌👌
Thanks Anthony! I’m stoked how it’s turning out
I am too. I can’t wait to see the finished build it is going to be killer 🤙🤙

Love Suzuki RM250s! Love all Suzuki MX bikes & ATVs. Maybe an LT450R rebuild next?
I took the easy route. Had FasterUSA build my kid’s 03 RM125 wheels. Factory Suzuki yellow rims, red spoke nipples, bronze Cerakote hubs, new bearings and Bridgestone tires 💯👍🔥🔥🔥😎
You always make it look so easy no matter what your doing. Amazing work you do also.
Oh my gosh - this thing is so beautiful! I hope and pray and dream that I win this beauty!
Great to see the build back and making progress. Wheels look pretty sick and can't wait til that beast is complete.

Rebuilt my first bike following your guides homie. Hit the track and cleared my first ever double today. Love ya man
i would love to see you build a supermoto next, im a big fan of your builds btw cant wait to see this bike finished
I'm going out to day and picking my RM suspensions up from rebuild and upgrade.
So i can assemble both of my machines.
Hope i got the time to build on of my RM125 frame up like you do.
I ran that same rear tire on my KX250 down at China Hat last month. I liked it enough to order their Recon Hybrid for my KTM 200.

Love the look, Cam!! Can't wait to see it finished!!
Car do be looking good along with those fresh tires. Can’t wait to see the final build.
The whole project is looking absolutely mint! Always grew up loving and wanting a RM bike, and can't wait to see this one running again!
Thanks Ricky!
Can't wait to see it,got a 94 rm250 project, thx for the inspiration!
suhweeet!

Keep it up cameron! I know you inspire alot of people, that includes me! Cant wait for that build to finish! That would be really awesome!!!👌👌👌
these video's are great, got me to drag out the 1996 rm250 i've had sitting in the shed for years. I'm starting the rebuild.
Putting that rear tire on is not as easy as you made it look 😂😂😂
These ones actually mount pretty easy! Lots of lube and sunlight helps
@@CameronNiemela i guess these are some soft tires?
Awesome as usual. I struggle with changing tires. No matter how careful I am I usually puncture the tube.
I just love tyre fitting videos. Love your truck man.
Probably the most underrated TH-camr. Keep doing your thing bro appreciate the videos 🔥💯

Cant wait to see this bike in my living room !!! 😃👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yeah, Those colors are gonna look Sick together !! Great as always Cam... Have a Great 4th. weekend....
love how informative these videos are man.
You should try the Motion Pro plastic rim band strips, they have adhesive on them and work much better than the standard rubber bands.
Another great video! Those rims and tires look amazing together. I am feeling inspired to go change my tires and tunes. I hope you guys have an amazing Independence Day!!!

Yes definitely! Don’t forget the rubbers!
Back to the neighbourhood of the roots 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
You made it look way to easy lol, they came out perfect man!
Awesome video man. Although the anxiety of waiting for this build to be done is starting to cause physical pain.
we used to call the rim lock "the pringle" when changing tires as a kid hahahahahaha
This thing is looking awesome. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Henry!
What happened to the no-pinch tools? Why not get a Coates tire changer like Devin’s?
Dude howd you make it look do easy ,I wound have scratched the helm out if that rim and that’s me being as delicate as I can ,

What kinda miles did you get outta those Nitto Ridge Graplers? I’m looking at those for my Ranger
What brand of tires did you have on the Toyota and how many miles did you get. I'm about to get new ones
What tire pressures do you recommend for a smaller bike, say a klx110?
11 to 12
if your a little bigger or adult 13 to 14 you can get away with
14 rear 16 front
Master of Restorations
Thank you!
@@CameronNiemela Your Welcome
I wish my rm 250 could look like your for now i miss some part they are b/o sad for the old 2stoke
Bike and truck look great 🤙

Happy 4th of July, Cam!
Thanks for the opportunity of winning a bike 👍. Keep it up
Did u cerakote wheels & forks?
You made putting that rear tire on look extremely easy 😂 and Beautiful truck by the way! What year is it?!
Where did the nopinch tyre changer go.
Man it looks so awesome
Awesome man, top job as ever👍🏻
Super rad video:) keep it up my guy.
Damn. Lookin good
It's easier if you put a few lbs in the tube first then put it in the tire and then put it on the rim and leave the air in the tube
Always on the grind bike is so fresh 🔥
Thanks bro!
why not tubeless?
These wheels are trick!
Did you do the give away??
