    Sir,In this way anode will be negative because it is directly connected to negative off VBB

    sir, how its reverse bias junctionJ3 gets turning ON without application any external voltage as in case of SCR we apply at this junction gate current to make a channel by apply +ve gate voltage . by application of this +ve voltage, minority carrier in the respective area in this case lower P region electrons concentration increase and they provide path to flow of anode current. but in PUT how the current is flow without J3 biasing changed? pls clarify sir.

    sir, as the name suggests put ( unijunction ) it has to be only 1 junction, but in structure you have shown as a 3 junction device. please justify my doubt sir.

      I think it's because "One junction is being programmed or in other way you can say controlled". One junction is being controlled.

    Hello,
    I think the negative terminal of V_bb should be connected to ground and not to anode for V_G = V_bb(R3/R2 + R3).

    How VG( gate voltge) will vary because R 3 resistance seems to be fix.
    Bt sir u have explained that 'VG ' will vary by adjusting R3 Resistance . How ?

      For this you have to understand working
      Of ujt and after you know that working is similar but we can change intrinsic stand off ratio but in ujt we can't.

      By positive pulse PUT can be turned ON and by negative pulse PUT can be turned OFF
