I backed this as soon as possible! A puzzle game like this seemed right up my alley, and I effectively greatly enjoyed my plays so far. Great job by Frank!
@@jameystegmaier Not very far yet, as I have been painting my house this entire last week. :) We finished the tutorial, and I believe we are almost done with Campaign 1 now.
Glad to hear someone else’s thoughts! I find the “no talking” mechanic is interesting. It subverts power-players from being able to tell others what to do, but it could be hard for some players to wrap their heads around. I’m eager to keep playing and see what new players think
I got mine last week, and it's a really fun game - a good puzzle. When we played with the comm tokens I got the normal speaking token but I really wanted the meow only token. I had the idea to simply use the extra wood cat tokens and give everyone one to spend to be able to meow for one turn. For the harder games you could even hand out 2 to each player to help make them a little easier - it's such a fun aspect of the game. Heck, you could even hand out an extra one for kids - I'm sure they would love to be able to meow more often. BTW, you should better acoustically isolate your microphone from the table to minimize the thump sound when you set something on the table...
So far I've only had the opportunity to play this game solo. When playing the first tutorial game, I was concerned that it might be too easy. However, those concerns were quickly dispelled as I played other scenarios. There is a definite tension as the fire spreads and you try to get that last cat to the raft before it is too late. Excellent game!
I totally agree about the tension! I've played the 4 tutorial sessions now, and there was a little tension, but I look forward to it increasing as we play more difficult scenarios.

Which scenario are you up to?

I should!

I really enjoy the mechanisms in the game, But I cannot get past the art, its just so busy and doesn't look good.
It’s a bit busy indeed, but one of the reasons is to make it recognisable for vision-impaired people, so I really liked they did that.
