Super Dave’s premise is what makes it so funny - a long drawn out scene of him over-explaining the stunt (or non-stunt) as the audience waits in anticipation of what will go wrong.

I found him about two years ago and feel the same way. I’m in England and have to tell you that I only discovered your very own “Limmy”. Some of his stuff had me in stitches. 👍👍.
Way back in time watching Super Dave and trying not to wake up sleeping parents was a routine to bring the end to an average summertime night.

I remember watching this when it aired on TV, with my dad, and it's one of the few times I saw him laugh hard, I mean really laugh. Bob Einstein was one of a kind just like my old man.
The first time I saw this was a clip by Super Dave on Johnny Carson. I still crack up every time I see it.
I'm 72 and remember seeing Super Dave on Johnny Carson a zillion years ago. Just cracked up again now seeing it again.
I love how this works EVERY time - Super Dave is great friends with Mike and Fuji at the beginning, but at the end, he hates them.

Been a long time since I've seen this one, and I still laugh till I cry.
If I remember right I saw this one on David Letterman back in the day. One of my first Super Dave experiences . R.I.P. Super Dave.
Dave (ie) Bob Einstein was Albert Brooks brother…. Being funny ran in the family …. My late ex husband and had many years of fun and laughs with him and his wife Berta…. I miss Bob!!
Found a box of stuff I had stored away years ago. In a large envelope was an 8 x 10 of Super Dave, autographed, along with a hand written letter responding to my question about getting tickets to his show. Probably generated by an assistant, but I've been a fan since The Smothers Brothers and Sonny & Cher shows. I'm 60, and still love this stuff.
This skit is where I first heard this song when I was little. The. I’d hear it in car ads and think “hey, that’s Super Dave’s song!”

Such a professional Super Dave was, even with the unexpected mishaps he'd dust himself off and got to work on another stunt. He is an inspiration for us all thats for sure. Officer Judy would be proud, even if he did pull over Liberace once for "Playing too fast".
