I have two adult cats, two litter boxes, and an automated drinking fountain. I never leave them alone for more than 3 days (which is not that often). If I will be gone for 1 to 3 days, I leave them extra dry food to cover that time. If I will be gone more than 3 days, I have an excellent cat sitter who comes once a day to feed them, clean the litter box, and play with them. 👍👍
