What kids don't realize is insurance costs money. Besides the premium, there are deductibles and when the insurance is used, the premiums go up. Maybe not after the first use in all cases but still, the deductible alone can be a struggle. My deductible is $1,000.00 so that I pay a lower premium. In areas where the risk is higher, they'd want a lower deductible but then their monthly premium is higher. It's a lose-lose situation for the insured. EDIT: Also, if you make too many claims, your insurance company can drop you and the odds of finding another company to insure you are low. Then IF you find a new insurer, you can guarantee your premiums will be out of this world.
This is very upsetting i got into a car accident and i moved out here not knowing about Kia’s and got one. It was stolen on my bday and ever since haven’t been able to be caught up in debt and i have two little girls also going to school. SMH STOP THIS!!!

When he asked the question about him dying and they said “should’ve got out the way” that made me lose faith in those boys. Senseless death over a trend they will forget about in a couple months.
Living in the Milwaukee area I'm so glad you brought this issue to light . I don't live on the north side but I know there are a lot of good people there just trying to peacefully live their lives. They don't deserve all this bullshit .
They don't deserve it, absolutely. What's sad is that these kids are coming from rough situations, and their lack of self-preservation is shared by the lack of caring from the community around them. Someone (a vigilante, a cop, or even one of their own) could kill them in the street, and no one would bat an eye. Hell, even if we protest (because there's no due process, no judge, no jury, just the executioner when that happens), we could get Rittenhoused and people would just complain that we were "un-American" while they glorify our killers. I can't imagine growing up feeling like that's how society views me, or would view my death. I'd like to think that I wouldn't turn into these kids, with their complete disregard not just for their own lives, but the lives of people around them... but clearly that messes you up inside. And meanwhile, who suffers the most? Their own community. The working parents around them, trying to raise kids to be something else.

there's nothing wrong with kia/hyundai. its just in the US they be cheaping on you guys. every car since like 1996 comes to immobilizer (chip that require to be on the key/ close to the ignition for the car to start). kia/hyundai charge for that "add-on" and it dosen't come with the car unless you asked for it (i guess people aren't being offered to install it in dealerships). so all the kia boys do is break/ release the key cylinder and stick the usb to start the car no problem. just like you see old pickups started with screwdriver... so just ask for the immobilizer to be installed and you are fine. altgho they might break your windows and cylinder only to find out they can't steal it..
Anyone who buys a Kia or Hyundai is extremely dumb regardless of the Kia boys. You don't buy one because they're built like crap. Waste of money they should be out of business. 2 years of your life saving up for a Kia WOW. Just Wow.

We had this problem in my neighborhood, BUT the police started finding car thives that were taped up and everything was stolen from them even their clothes . In couple of cases thives were found days later in the woods taped together without food or water . Don't know who did it but we don't have car break ins any more .
Are there theories on who was doing it? Sounds like some citizens had enough and started taking matters into their own hands. But taping people up naked in the woods, that's next-level revenge right there. I dunno if an ordinary citizen would be down for getting involved in that.
@@bluntmk I'm not saying it was bad. I think it's hilarious, and obviously very effective as the robberies stopped. Just curious as to who was doing it to multiple people, as I think the average person wouldn't be willing to do that much work in their revenge.
That is some 100% real reporting, respect for going there and doing that. To The KIA boys, use your skills and balls to do something that lasts, there is so much you can do if you believe in yourself, the current path only leads to pain, prison and problems. I survived and thrived, so can you.
it’s really not that simple. since peer pressure exists and most of these kids don’t have parents that give them attention due to not having the means or some just not caring. sometimes believing yourself isn’t going to work.
What that young fool don't realize that dealing with the insurance company is a whole headache because you need a lawyer to fight them. I live in Milwaukee and regrettably own a Kia. It got stolen in October last year. They had it less then 24 hours and did 14k in damage to it without crashing it. Didn't get it back from the shop till January. It got stolen again earlier this month and this time it was around 10k in damage. Even with insurance it's going to cost me a $500 deductible and last time it was in the shop so long it cost me nearly 4k in rental cars. Praying it wont be in the shop as long this time. Had the wheel lock. it does shit. Can't afford a different vehicle and all Kia will do is offer to SELL me a 1k security system that likely wont do shit. I can barely afford to eat because of this repeated nightmare. These bastards are ruining me financially and putting others in danger. It doesn't matter how fast someone tries to get out of your way if they are on foot and your doing 80 mph. They are going to die. My sister had her car totaled by one of these types who sped through a stop sign. Her insurance only paid 3/4 of replacement value. Of course the male kept going.
And it's not like insurance rates in the area don't adjust for this. Everyone's rate is higher so the insurance company can account for the fact that they're going to have to pay out for so many car thefts. It's awful.

What's sad is that these kids are coming from rough situations, and their lack of self-preservation is shared by the lack of caring from the community around them. Someone (a vigilante, a cop, or even one of their own) could kill them in the street, and no one would bat an eye.
Hell, even if we protest (because there's no due process, no judge, no jury, just the executioner when that happens), we could get Rittenhoused and people would just complain that we were "un-American" while they glorify our killers.

kia/hyundai charge for that "add-on" and it dosen't come with the car unless you asked for it (i guess people aren't being offered to install it in dealerships).
so all the kia boys do is break/ release the key cylinder and stick the usb to start the car no problem. just like you see old pickups started with screwdriver...

It was in OK condition, you could say, but I started grinding just to get a new car, so then I wasn’t always looking back at my car to make sure it was still there, being stressed out about it 24/7. I was so hesitant about buying a new car, since I had an operational one, then one of my friends told me his Kia was stolen, after hearing that I wasted no time and bought a Honda Accord. It has only been good since then. I wasn't looking at my car 24/7 to make sure it didn’t get stolen and whatever I was more relaxed.
I’m Australian and we have this problem in a city near where I live. One of the punishments they came up with was making them repair cars. I means heaps of them still steal cars but a hunch of them are becoming mechanics and getting into car meetups instead

I think this is valuable to talk about what their attitude is. On the other hand this does glorify what they do to some extent (to the others of their age and demographic). I like that you asked others what to do. Because I think that's what everyone is asking and the answers were as unclear as I expected them to be. It's very hard to give hope and purpose to someone if they reach that age and have none.

I pray for all these kids that they grow up and mature fast. This is chasing death , fast, literally!
A parent can guide their child in the right direction. You have to be a constant in their life. If they look up to you and respect you they'll make the right choices. You have to let them know what sitting in jail is like from a young age. Or show them how horrible the food is.
They will never make it keep praying it will not work with these immature criminals 65% or more will end up dead or incarcerate for life before they reach 25. No regard for anyone else in public, they will get what's coming to them.
