- Philip Larkin's powerful poem about exploring churches is wonderfully narrated by Tim Bentinck who plays David Archer on the BBC Radio 4 series, The Archers.

Beautifully narrated too.
My favourite Larkin poem. At the moment.
A poem so delicately layered, and also quite brutal. Love it.
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ Church going histories wonderful parables I feel very happy good subject thank you so much
A favourite of mine and very well read. Thanks.
A lovely poem beautifully spoken and sensitively filmed. The dereliction displayed especially in the organ keys and the broken windows lends even more poignancy to it. A sign of the times, unfortunately, and it was probably beginning when Larkin wrote the poem.
Wonderful
