    I'm struggling. I absolutely love the song, and it reminds me that I'd much rather be struggling on earth than in purgatory when He calls me home to Him❤❤❤

      Amen, without our struggles and suffering there can be no growth with God. It’s good to have these weaknesses it keeps our need and dependence on Him more. God Bless!!

    For years i have struggled with this one particular thing. God OUR Father although he is soo gentle, he allows the struggle. I hadnt see this as clear as i have these past years, because in chaos we often dont see the whole picture. Hopefully, im in better obedience and i cant wait to see what this is all about....it sure has been painful. Prayers to ALL who struggle. Its a virtue. IT is holy and from GOD. #strivingeveryday #askforGodshelp

    I can't explain it but the more you suffer sometimes the more richer you feel not having anything but it's inside of you. I can't explain it but who feels it knows it. Ask all the Arab nations they know what it feels like! isn't Gods kingdom for the poor and the meek and all the sufferers of the earth? While we are poor n deprived and condemned on this earth, we get every lasting life with our life giver where all the riches are! I heard our homes will be made with precious stones not of this earth. I love my lord because he is beautiful mighty n righteous! May all things live in him. Amen, Selah!! And we shouldn't fear death but believe in God before we die.

    Brothers, I really needed this. Last night I had a moment with my wife where I was truly feeling the weight of the nursing program I’m in. It all seemed to crash down on me at once. Thank you for this video. It’s a theme I need to be taking in and meditating on for some time. If you happen to see this comment and feel compelled to say a prayer for me, I would most definitely appreciate it. I’ll be praying for you guys and the beautiful message of Jesus you’re spreading.

      In the world today there are many things designed by the enemy to hit youth. Check the books he reads, or has read (harry potter is demonic), music he listens to, pictures in his room.. those items can cause depression or anger. We all know that teenagers have their hormons unbalanced sometimes and that causes them to be more agressive. But today we need to be extra careful what we buy our kids and the stuff we allow them to have.
      With love, faith in God show him the example and pray that he may find God and gets delivered from the enemy's influence.
      Ask God to show you the cause of this struggle.
      May your family be blessed and protected.

      @@josejaimeperezsegura1942 of course you love it!! What is there not to love about?? A young boy that goes to a school to learn ... to become a warlock!! So cute!
      Ask your priest then... or search about it.
      If you are devout, I ask you to get rid of it.
      Ask Jesus to tell you the truth.
      May God bless you and keep you safe.

      @@carlagrado7201 But it's just a fiction story! Teenagers know how to read it. Besides, the thread is grounded in good moral goals, it's just about the fight against the evil. I actually consider that you can teach a lot of good values through Harry Potter books. God bless you too!

    How amazing that you are talking about exactly what I'm going through right now...a struggle I've had for a long time that I'm starting to see that God seems to want to use for something that couldn't have happened if I didn't have it. Your song, Struggler, helped and blessed me so much when I heard it for the first time yesterday. And yes, I've had the greatest blessings and quickest answers from God the times I've been completely honest with Him. Sometimes it's hard to be honest when I don't even know what I think or how I feel... I guess I can just be honest about that too! Thank you both!

    As an Orthodox, the struggle aspect comes more easily. Honestly the hardest part of being a Christian for me is the love. Loving humanity and loving myself, in service to God. I tend to fall into almost Calvinist thinking, seeing only sin and falling short of expectations everywhere I look. I wonder if we deserve to be saved, then realise that's blasphemy. Then I feel a guilt for it which just starts the cycle all over again.

    • @Irobel98
      @Irobel98 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everything starts with the encounter that changes you for the better, with His hug, with that decisive presence. I cannot deny I have experienced it multiple times, por example in confession. Letting that Love run me through broke a lot of bad cycles in me... Maybe it's the way Jesus looks at me; I am trying to verify it. But that's the way I want to look at everyone and everything... I find myself loving more each time. I don't know, maybe you find this message useful... I understand you! And I hope you have experienced this or that you will. Big hug in Christ

      Daniel i think its good to keep in my mind that when we have a relationship with God and when we try to go further in our faith, the evil one wants to distract us and hinder spiritual growth. He does this in many ways but one of them is to make us scrupulous so as to take away our peace. I think its good to remind ourselves that God is a loving father and that he loved us so much that in Jesus Christ he died for us even though we are sinners. We can even though we mess up always turned to him and rest assured that he will forgive us.

    Please can you do a video about the morals of a catholic joining the army and potentially killing in a warzone situation etc.

    • @paulmiller3469
      @paulmiller3469 6 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Simply Tech - the Church has taught and continue to teach that military service is honorable and not inherently sinful, even in wartime. If you want to get into the particulars, google 'just war,' but even if a war is not viewed as just by the Vatican, that's on the decision makers and your job is to do you job. (Of course, not talking war crimes or anything like that.)

    • @paulmiller3469
      @paulmiller3469 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What in the books of the New Covenant give you the idea that military service is something to avoid? That's not what the Church teaches, and not what we should believe. In fact, the Church teaches obedience to and service toward secular authorities, when possible, because of the books of the New Covenant (St. Paul especially).
      A Roman centurion gave Jesus the greatest example of faith He had seen to that point, and that centurion's words are repeated (paraphrased) every Mass. Another centurion was the first Gentile convert.

    • @paulmiller3469
      @paulmiller3469 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, what I wrote isn't necessary true, at least not completely. The Church teaches what it teaches primarily because that was the Sacred Tradition it was charged to preserve. The books of the New Covenant are those that 4th century bishops believed would help explain, preserve and not conflict with Sacred Tradition.
