Professional flying all the way, loved the sound of those engines on takeoff from St Barts and enjoyed that approach and very smooth centerline landing on St Maarten.I have flown to St Barts one time and it was an experience.
awesome video ... the authentic DHC TO engines sound the vision of its board instruments and several angles of views during the flight... I enjoy this famous STOL plane always so useful...thanks a lot🛩
Oh, thanks a lot, Kurt :-DDD I just watched a similar video when I was in the cockpit of a LIAT Dash 8 flying from Antigua back to St. Lucia, on a Sony H8 videotape and I really really did the same shots. LIke, what the pilots all do even in good weather, and besides, before I even got to fly in a DeHavilland Twin Otter or Dash 7 or -8, I worked at DeHav Canada on the DHC-7, in the 7-ties. What I really like is that we can hear all the engine sounds too, many new videos only have the noise-cancelling headphone stuff :--(( I want to hear Twin Otter, Dash 7 and 8 Pratt & Whitney Turbo sounds :-D Thanks very much and . check the Caribbean on FR24, plenty of Twin Otters and similar aircraft flying there. The only one that makes it to SABA is a Winair Twin Otter, 2 times a day, runway is 400 meters between the cliffs. from St. Barth where else.
No, that's intentional. In case they hit turbulent air immediately after departure, the pilot monitoring's hand will back up the PIC to prevent him from accidentally dropping the throttle at a critical stage in the flight.
Prop pitch 100% during takeoff and landing so that they have full access to power at low speeds, especially on landing for easier modulation of throttle
Thank you so much, Panduro, for showing the instruments ! ( speed x altitude ) And for keeping the motors music !
A wonderful, very reliable airplane! A true workhorse too! Thanks for the great video Kurt!
Thank You!
Years ago, an old pilot told me this airplane is easy to fly, like a wheelbarrow in your garden

Shouldn't the props be on the outside of the aircraft? ;-)
:-) Fortunately, there is also two propellers outside, the little ones to cool the pilots :-)
You comment made me laugh so bad 👌🏿😂😂🤣

I didn’t realise the otter engines were on the inside, very clever 🤓
I totally enjoyed this video and the pilot knows his S. STRAIGHT UP !

I have 254 total hours. Is this enough to get into that right seat. I'm desperate.
Excellent video! Glad I found it.

Huh.....interesting..... I didnt know the propellors were inside the cockpit.....;)
nice take off and landing
Hello i would like to know when there will be video of the same type thank you
Have completed the last 2 on TH-cam this time, the flight St. Maarten - Amsterdam and the last short trip home Amsterdam - Billund.
They both got their hands in the control which is not right.
No, that's intentional. In case they hit turbulent air immediately after departure, the pilot monitoring's hand will back up the PIC to prevent him from accidentally dropping the throttle at a critical stage in the flight.
Dear Pilots - If I give you my address will you please pick me up? lol! Great Job! You make it look so easy!
How do you become professional pilot?
I'm not a trained pilot, I make videos only from airplane tours I've been on
Nice!
Wow severe turbulence
Awesome!
My island :)
why r the props full in take off and landing ?
Prop pitch 100% during takeoff and landing so that they have full access to power at low speeds, especially on landing for easier modulation of throttle
