Adam wrote a lot of the songs on One-X in rehab like Over and Over, Animal I Have Become and Riot. The band said themselves in interviews that they all wrote the rest of the songs from One-X at Neil's cottage. And most of the songs from Three Days Grace were written by Adam, Neil and Brad in high school before Barry even joined the band. Adam still plays Three Days Grace songs in his live performances because he has personal connections to those songs.
Besides he's the original artist he should not have to justify singing anything he wants. It's a cover if he sings a Phil Collins song but not if he sings his own.

Adam left because he damaged his vocal chords. That is clearly evident in this performance. His high notes sound like garbage, because his voice has been so strained. The same thing happened to Corey Taylor from Slipknot, which is why he started the softer band, Stone Sour, to occupy his time while his voice recovered. Adam may do the same, but undoubtedly, he needs to stop TDG until his voice gets better.
The reason adam doesnt look like he did is because he got a haircut. They also added the new guy on the keyboard. Danny I think his name is. The reason they dont sound as usuall is because they are on acoustic.

Yes, is a traitor, now adam plays stupid songs like "just dance" (lady gaga). He betrayed his friends just because he is a whimsical and he tried to destroy the band. I know his voice is awesome and that's the reason because we like his, but his personality with us (his fans) and his friends is a fucking shit. I support Three Days Grace forever!
