Love the synergy between you two and Audrie you were awesome in both energy and knowladge - love these kinds of videos because I share the same passion and love for the platform.
It's nice that she provided Dev resources, but the biggest barrier to using Dataverse for me is that everyone else needs to have premium to access the stuff I build. It just doesn't scale very well...
Exactly, I don't see how anyone beyond a very small business would be able to utilize dataverse without breaking some multiplexing rules. On top of that we have to pay for a GB of database storage for each environment just to start which at a large corporation can get out of control quickly We are put up against an impossible model of managing tons of security roles within one environment or pay for different environments for everyone.
as most people said here, dataverse could be a great solution but not for all by cost so, the power plataform is great but too expensive, another cheaper solution could be more attractive
Just way too expensive to adopt for a large corporation. I don't understand how sql can be so much cheaper per user and database storage when dataverse is the same thing with a different face Lose the premium per user need and reduce the cost per GB and it would be a no brainer.
Yes, I believe it is. Although it depends upon whether your IT teams have enabled self-provisioning for environments. Try to create an environment to see if you get any internal notifications on limitations. Let us know if you do.
🤔I really like the whole dataverse/power eco-system (though a bit slow often), but Dataverse is just very, very expensive in licenses for enterprise use (especially if needed for an app with company wide use - "premium" here and there you know) and for many enterprises this is simply the no-go reason to adopt it and simply stay with Sharepoint or the competitors. The "free" dataverse for Teams is frankly nothing to be considered as usable alternative....

Glad to see I'm not the only one excessively exploiting poor Adele Vance, she does 90% of all the work among my dev account team and is the most restricted and monitored employee by far, purely because she's first on the list 😆
I never knew about Virtual tables for SharePoint in Dataverse - so I found this: th-cam.com/video/Jj7bWCV5Pu4/w-d-xo.html . Lots of steps but seems doable. QUESTION: If a non premium user adds data to the SharePoint list, will they need a Premium license after I make that same SharePoint list a virtual table for use in Dataverse from within my premium account? (Or do I only get to see items from the SharePoint list that I created?) Thanks.
Anybody accessing the SharePoint data with a virtual table will need a premium license. Users accessing the data directly in SharePoint will not need a premium license.
The mastery put to craft these videos is from another league! love the energy and how well curated they are
Audrie makes me feel like I can do Power Platform & Dataverse :) She's great at making this feel more approachable than it felt before.
Thanks guys, I learn a lot with this videos
Love her energy. I am a SharePoint wiz that is a little bit intermediated by Dataverse. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you David for watching and sharing feedback! Good to know there are kindred souls out there! 🥰
Audrie should do more of these videos the way she explains things is very easy to understand
Hi John - for other videos by Audrie - check out her community page here: aka.ms/DataverseAdventCalendar
Version history and being able to restore previous versions is huge for me in SharePoint

Is powerapps developer plan available for gcc users?
Yes, I believe it is. Although it depends upon whether your IT teams have enabled self-provisioning for environments. Try to create an environment to see if you get any internal notifications on limitations. Let us know if you do.
Unfortunately the developer plan isn’t available for sovereign clouds like GCC.
