Thank you so much! Your cards are always SO beautiful and well done!! Love the ideas and series you've been doing to help us make good use of our time, resources, supplies...etc
I love this different approach to card making and using our stashes. It’s very innovative and helpful. The use of the shape underneath a simple branch really works well. I’ll have to get some. Love the holly jolly card. Thanks for sharing Jill.
All the cards are beautiful Jill but I do have to admit that I love the darker framed ones over the lighter colored ones. Thanks for all your great videos and for being such an inspiration to me.
Thanks, Lynn! There's nothing wrong with new items, too- I find I am motivated to use my stash more when I have a little something new mixed in to get me excited. :)
I adore your videos and what you make. I've been at it for over 20 years and have accumulated so much it is embarrassing. I used to make tons of cards and sort them to use - then got into canning and gardening so it was a pretty limited selection left. I saw one of your videos at the beginning of this year and FELL IN LOVE with your process! Since it is too hot to garden, I set up a small station with 'envelopes' of ideas, product, and inspiration. I can tell you I've made over 40 cards now with lots of envelopes left to work with. Finally back into the habit - just an hour or two each day has resulted in me using some of my loved dies, stamps, etc. Not only do you provide inspiration but a method of doing it that works wonderfully for me. I've just finished a big batch and started poking around in my 'old bins' to gather a new load of projects. One of my favorite things to do with cards is create gift sets and send them to people. I wish I could just do one envelope at a time but when I return from shopping my stash, no matter how hard I try, I end up with at least five envelopes of 'starter' ideas and their components in neat stacks on my card table. It is like an exciting trip somewhere when I sit down to play. It forces me to get my household chores done just by looking at it. And, I clean up after every batch - amazing. I LOVE your system and wish I had it years ago. So yes, I'm totally excited about your new series. THANK YOU for sharing. I'm beginning to realize I don't have enough PB&J sentiments, critters, and 'stems' so am saving for a big haul.
Super happy with this new video, I always look forward to seeing what you come up with next time. I saved the sketch, simple and beautiful. Can't wait to see the rest. I think my favorite from all would be the one that has the holly branch and tag, but I love them all 😆 🤣. Hugs to you Jill ♥️
Jill , I enjoy watching all your video’s. Your ideas are amazing. I love watching you create and paint . I especially love the darker color shiplap but all your cards are stunning as always Jill. Thank you for sharing. 🎄🌺🎄🌺🎄🌺
These cards are amazing Jill as we all know your creative prowess is awe inspiring! I know I am going to be shopping my stash to go along with the items I recently purchased from Penny Black's newest collection. Thank you so much for sharing. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Have an awesome day!
Another video and another shopping trip I love watching your videos because I learn so much and am willing to try your techniques. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks!
Jill - your videos are fabulous as always & very inspiring. Thank you for sharing your talent & easy-to-understand teaching techniques My Penny Black supplies are some of my faves!!
I adore all of these variations but I think if I had to pick a favorite, it would be the “Christmas is magical because we are together “. I am obsessed with your videos and your talent. TFS! ❤
They’re all so lovely! Maybe the one with the dark brown framed background as I’m loving dark backgrounds at the moment! But I also love the cream background “holly jolly” card too. 😊
I love you videos. You simplify the process so it isn’t so overwhelming. I often feel like I have to have each card planned out to completion before I even start. My favorite cards were the Christmas is Magical and the Holly-jolly.
My favorite is all of them! This is a great sketch. My shiplap die should be delivered Saturday, so today I will work on getting the focal point images ready with the dies I have one hand. Last night I stamped and painted tthe two hedgehog stamps and started fussy cutting them. One of there days I will learn how to use my scan and cut machine to help me out.
Jill, I really enjoy how you make your cards several at a time. Always the same idea, but always each card is unique! Making cards is easier and more time efficient, yet still so enjoyable! Thank you! I'm really looking forward to this series of videos!
I love the Christmas is Magical card best! I can't wait to view the rest of the series, your videos are always inspiring! I haven't quite tried your ideas for mass producing, but I am enjoying my stash of new PB products, and the older ones too.
I just love how your designs are simple, yet so elegant! I have watched many of your videos showcasing your watercolor techniques and I absolutely love them.
Thank you for the great video! I'm really looking forward to your series this year once again as I LOVE what you do with PB products. I think my fave for this video is the berry branch with the "You put the merry in my Christmas" sentiment - love the contrast!
Hi Jill, I've been going through your Christmas & winter card making videos, and I'm so inspired by your art. I've even been watching videos from 9 years ago as I'm planning on making Christmas cards throughout the year. I don't think anyone compares to you when it comes to Christmas/winter cards. Thank you for sharing your art with us and for all the inspiration!❤
I really love all these and think it's a great way to" semi' mass produce cards! If I love a card I've created I often want to recreate it, but this idea is better! I don't like creating the same card over and over! If I have to choose a favorite, it's Holly Jolly Christmas! Thanks Jill! 🥰
WOW!!! Your work is outstanding, I love watching you and I have learned a lot from you, all your card ideas are beautiful. I’m a big fan of PB I purchased my 1 st PB stamp in 1985. Thank you so much for sharing, blessings ❤️🇬🇧
What a great video. It was so interesting to see your process. I think my favorite is the "Christmas is magical" card. And you sold me on getting that shiplap die!
Hi Jill Thanks for doing these wonderful videos. I sometimes think that you have the best job in the entire world 😊 I have to say that I love all the cards you make and it is hard to choose a favourite. If I have to, it would be 'believe' but I enjoy watching your creative process. I could happily watch you paint for hours on end. And I do by watching & rewatching the videos. I am looking forward to the rest of this series.💖
Karen, that is soooo kind, thank you very much! :) I am very blessed to have this job and to be a part of the Penny Black family. We're glad YOU are a part of our community here on TH-cam! :)
OK Jill, Christmas in July has morphed into August awesome! I love your stash busting philosophy (I can sooo relate!🤦♀️). Your inspiration is definitely inspiring me to create! Looking forward to 12 times the fun!👏🏻💖
Hi Jill, I woke up today and saw you you have a tutorial;”Ooh, yay Penny Black”😂 I just love all of your tutorials and all your instruction!! I’m going to watch your watercolor starter tutorial that you recommended to a viewer. Thank you so much for all your hard work you do for all of us!! Blessings❤
These are lovely! I'm still intimidated by watercolor, but you make it look easy, and these have such nice, bite-sized painting elements, I feel like I can start with them. Thanks!
Your calm voice and easy to follow instructions make your videos so much fun (and educational) to watch!! One suggestion - can you add all your sketches in one section of the Penny Black website or blog? It would be great to find them all in one place when we are looking for a starting point and inspiration to begin creating. Sometimes I remember I saw you doing something I want to try but forget which video it was one so by the time I watch several of them (which I totally enjoy) I run out of my crafting time! 😂
Thanks so much for sharing your kind words and feedback! We are working on an idea to make all of the sketches and card ideas easy to access. Stay tuned! :)
Thank you, Deborah! I don't have any online watercolor classes, but do offer lots of ideas for getting started in this video: th-cam.com/video/vnOrFIvf0WU/w-d-xo.html Happy stamping and painting! :)
Thanks, Joan! Most of the sketches I share are based on cards I've created in the past and really loved how they turned out and/or they are layouts I find myself returning to again and again. :)
Hi i love your cards, you inspire me with each video. Could you tell me about the double sided ape you had on the dispenser please.... does it have a clear backing tape? Thanks for all yourhard working making these videos for us. Jenny in the UK
Thank you, Jenny! I'm using Scotch double-sided tape. I just pop it off the roll and add it to my dispenser. I find it's economical and has good hold, too, and no messing around with difficult refills/cartridges/etc. :) It's this kind: www.amazon.com/Scotch-Dispenser-Engineered-Photo-Safe-137DM-2/dp/B002VLA5SI/ref=sr_1_7?crid=7PT4J22RFWKF&keywords=scotch+double+sided+tape&qid=1691237925&sprefix=scotch+doublesided+tap%2Caps%2C140&sr=8-7
I like seeing your approach to putting things together. Some days I'm happy to just putter and let things emerge, but others I want some structure and less decision-making. While some shiplap has visible vertical edges, it's not a look I associate with shiplap. The "shiplap" die looks more like planks. Most of the shiplap I've seen is narrower and has a much higher length/width ratio. I realize you probably don't control any of that, but maybe you could pass that along to Penny Black.
Ahh I totally love your system of organising ahead
Thank you- it really helps me enjoy the whole process!
Thank you so much! Your cards are always SO beautiful and well done!! Love the ideas and series you've been doing to help us make good use of our time, resources, supplies...etc
Thank you!

Thanks so much!
I love this different approach to card making and using our stashes. It’s very innovative and helpful. The use of the shape underneath a simple branch really works well. I’ll have to get some. Love the holly jolly card. Thanks for sharing Jill.
So glad to hear you like the approach- thank you!
I really love your stash videos. These cards are all pretty. Can’t pick a favorite!
Thanks so very much!
All the cards are beautiful Jill but I do have to admit that I love the darker framed ones over the lighter colored ones. Thanks for all your great videos and for being such an inspiration to me.
Big thanks, Chris!
I love your videos. They are so inspiring. What I am NOT good at though is then using my stash. I always want to use what you used.
Thanks, Lynn! There's nothing wrong with new items, too- I find I am motivated to use my stash more when I have a little something new mixed in to get me excited. :)
I enjoy watching your videos. You’re such an inspiration.
Thank you soooo much!

I adore all of these variations but I think if I had to pick a favorite, it would be the “Christmas is magical because we are together “. I am obsessed with your videos and your talent. TFS! ❤

Absolutely- painting die cuts is a wonderful place to start! :)
So without buying a new die, I’m thinking I could use a wood grain embossing folder on an elongated hexagon die to get a similar feel.
Absolutely! That's a brilliant idea!
Thanks for sharing the whole process. My favorites are Holly Jolly and You put the Merry. Twine and pearls are the perfect embellishments.
Thanks so much!
So easy and so pretty! Now I don’t have to wait until December 15 to start my cards!
Thank you so much- no need to wait... ho, ho, ho! ;)
Great cards! You make painting look easy.
Thank you!
What an awesome technique to craft without becoming overwhelmed.
Thank you, Rebecca!
Fabulous video,so many ideas,my head is spinning. Thank you so much Jill😊

Appreciate you sketches series.

Loved this! I really love all your videos, but especially enjoy the ones like this that have tips for getting more done easily! Thank you.
Thanks so much Patrica!

So beautiful! I love all your cards
I look forward to your new videos, you have such great ideas.
Thank you, Laurella!
I love your cards. Do you have any online watercolor classes? I would love to be able to do watercoloring.
Thank you, Deborah! I don't have any online watercolor classes, but do offer lots of ideas for getting started in this video: th-cam.com/video/vnOrFIvf0WU/w-d-xo.html Happy stamping and painting! :)
Love this! Thank you!
Thanks!
Great idea!
Thank you!
These are so beautiful 🎄❤️
Thanks so much, Mary!
You are so very talented. I just love your cards!!
Thanks for your kind words, Sandy!
Thank you for all the great ideas.
Thanks!
Love the shiplap!
Thank you!
Love the holly branch the best but all your cards are amazing. I hate the ship lap is no longer available.
Fabulous ideas again! I keep telling wi can do this! How do you come up with the sketch to begin with?
Thanks, Joan! Most of the sketches I share are based on cards I've created in the past and really loved how they turned out and/or they are layouts I find myself returning to again and again. :)
Beautiful! I love your designs.
Thank you!
So many great ideas!
Thanks, Lillian!
Beautiful cards!
Thank you, Debbie!
Love all the cards, but I tend to like the darker shiplap more.
Thank you, Michelle!
Hi i love your cards, you inspire me with each video.
Could you tell me about the double sided ape you had on the dispenser please.... does it have a clear backing tape? Thanks for all yourhard working making these videos for us. Jenny in the UK
Thank you, Jenny! I'm using Scotch double-sided tape. I just pop it off the roll and add it to my dispenser. I find it's economical and has good hold, too, and no messing around with difficult refills/cartridges/etc. :) It's this kind: www.amazon.com/Scotch-Dispenser-Engineered-Photo-Safe-137DM-2/dp/B002VLA5SI/ref=sr_1_7?crid=7PT4J22RFWKF&keywords=scotch+double+sided+tape&qid=1691237925&sprefix=scotch+doublesided+tap%2Caps%2C140&sr=8-7
Love your videos! I use tweezers to help lineup very delicate images.
Great idea - thank you!
@@PennyBlackInc you are welcome.🙂
I like seeing your approach to putting things together. Some days I'm happy to just putter and let things emerge, but others I want some structure and less decision-making.
While some shiplap has visible vertical edges, it's not a look I associate with shiplap. The "shiplap" die looks more like planks. Most of the shiplap I've seen is narrower and has a much higher length/width ratio. I realize you probably don't control any of that, but maybe you could pass that along to Penny Black.
Thanks for your feedback, Candy!
