Today we will try to transmit energy through the air as simply as possible. But not only 10 cm, maybe 1 meter? In addition, I will tell you a technique, how you can improve your experiments by a lot! So be curious!

I posted a video some time ago about this. I called this intermediate coil a "repeater" or "range extender". You did a good job! Danke und schönen Tag!

Awesome video mate, well presented, showing something that Great Scott missed in his video on the same project, different approaches to the subject but i like yours best. i really look forward to seeing a drone flying but the range would make it no more than a demonstration. we have a experimental wireless power transmission going on here in New Zealand currently so with that technology you could actually fly a small drone in the beam they are sending line of sight across back country NZ, using a microwave based beam. would need to place the drone in the beam using a second conventional drone then disconnect when the drone is in the right location.

Hey Noel, thank you for the kind words!
That sounds very interesting, I thougt about using a Magnetron, but its way more dangerous. I hope it will work anyway.

Great explanation of how this works! I love seeing demonstrations if this, it's always so cool. Also, I really like the look of your ZVS driver. Looks really well laid out and nice and compact. Looking forward to this wirelessly powered drone!

Thank you! Im also very excited, to see the drone fly with no battery. I think I need a bigger transmitter Coil. Maybe a big Spiderweb-Coil...

@@Teslaundmehr Haha yeah there are some big challenges to solve there. I'm wondering if you might also need a network of multiple repeaters that help create a larger "region" of high enough power density to keep it flying. Depends on how much you want to fly around vs just hover over one spot though. Will be really cool either way!

To be honest, I never thought about using the intermediate coil for increasing range before your video. It feeds food for the brain. Danke.

It would be cool to see this applied to household items like lights, appliances, and so on. Just as long as you have that extender (or multiple extenders) in the middle, it shouldn't be impossible to power a bunch of different things around your house I wouldn't think.

If I may make a comment from my experience with wireless circuits. You're using a lot of energy here... the reason for your using so much energy is that your transmitter circuit is in parallel. Try a half bridge driver (or even a high speed, high current gate driver chip) driving the transmitter circuit into resonance with a SERIES transmitter circuit... not parallel. Also, in this configuration, when my parallel "relay" circuit (the one between your transmitter and the receiver) is put into the proximity of my transmitter.... If you place it correctly near but not too near the transmitter ----I many times have seen a power decrease (lowering of current) on the primary while the range of the field is extended! These are not like core transformers - air transformers behave VERY differently. The overall field grows stronger with lower power input! The circuits interact to build each other up - in a positive feedback that is very advantageous. There is someone I know who added a bunch or "relay" circuits near the transmitter and got to basically zero current (...even at times a negative current) while transmitting and lighting loads.. Also, your coil shape is important... those coils you wound have small Q values... a high Q coil will make things much better - the more square the coil (length about the same as width)- the higher the Q and the more you will see the effects I described. Also the higher the frequency, usually the better your results (above 1 MHz has been good from my experience). You have only scratched the surface of what is possible here. Anyways - great video, always enjoy and look forward to your content!

The secret is "parametric transformer". Air cored parametric transformer. Only possible with the existence of aether but can the inductance of aether be modulated Lol?

@@Teslaundmehr Start with parametric transformer. Blows up your mind. Then you will see the secret of parametric electrical excitation, parametric electrical oscillation, parametric electrical coupling, and parametric electrical resonance. This involves modulating inductance - which makes me think if modulating the inductance of aether is possible or not Lol but looks like it is possible.
