- After leaving the Darling church, we had to stop off at Evita se Perron. Sonia found two cats on the stoep she had to cuddle while I went through Evita’s Museum. What an interesting place! Lunch was great and then it was off to the white beaches of Yzerfontein. It was raining all the way to Yzerfontein, but someone waved a wand and the blue skies appeared only over Yzerfontein. #DustBugs #adventuretravel #southafrica #eviteseperon #yzerfontein

I liked the Perron shop with all the paraphernalia there its gorgeous. The beach was fantastic great.
It is one of the nicest beaches.
We moved to Yzer in 2011 the best place to live, thanks loved your video❤our heaven on earth.
For me personally this video is outstanding. Myself and my late wife did exactly the same trip in 2015. I remember the gravy train and the old election posters in the toilets in the perron. Still have all the photos and where you stand on the beach i took a photo of my wife. You bring back many wonderfull memories.

Yzerfontein is just a beautiful place, we stayed in that caravan park quite a few times. You did not see the southern part of the town...south past the harbour where on a clear day you can see Table Mountain. I just love the Westcoast..
That beach was really impressive. We know quite a few people who go nowhere else during holidays, so it must be quite a special place. We'll make a point of checking out the other side of town when we visit again. 👍

Darling se kerk het afgebrand toe ek n klein dogtertjie was in die vroeg vyftigs. Daarna is die huidige kerk gebou.

Indeed! A very large one. I'd go as far as calling it a bush. 😁🌳
