  • For our premier episode of Go4Lo we run parts of the Allegheny Discovery route through the Monongahela National Forest of West Virginia. Our best laid plans are disrupted by a blizzard, deadfall all over the Canaan Loop and Canyon Rim roads as well as soupy mud dispersed campsites at every turn. In other words; a typical overland adventure for us, we adjust and make the best out of what the backcountry and mother nature combine to throw at us.
    If you have any questions or comments about the route, gear, or something else from the video please leave them down below in the comments. If you enjoyed watching our first episode of GO4LO please like and subscribe. There are more episodes on the way!

    Im very glad you liked our beautiful State of West Virginia. I am fortunate to have been born and raised here. Years ago, i took a stock Jeep Liberty across the Cannaan loop. I kept up with lifted Jeep Wranglers. No lift kit, street tires, no air down my tires. I am currently looking at a Nissan Exterra standard transmission. Looking forward to do some mild off roading soon. Who knows maybe we'll meet one day out on the trails. Thank you for this great video.

      @@Go4Lo I was confused by the title as I started the video. But holy cow, that was a lot of downed trees!!

    Great overlanding and great views. Now I know why John Denver loved his home state of West Virginia so much.
    How many cc's does your chainsaw have? Do you think I could get by with an electric chainsaw?

    • @Go4Lo
      @Go4Lo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! It's a Craftsman s180. Step up from the electric I had before. I seem to need the saw on every trip!!!

    I would highly recommend not cutting with the chainsaw above your head! Cut lower you’re using the winch to pull it apart any way. Safe travels cool video

      Thanks for the tip! Sometimes you gotta do it though.

    Fantastic video!!! We were down there last summer and wow has the washout on rim road ( 40:50) gotten much wider!! The video is on my Thompson creek clip.
    What drone are you using?

    • @Go4Lo
      @Go4Lo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! With Canyon Rim hardly being much of a trail it doesn't make sense to me why they wouldn't repair that wash out, at this point a stock rig can't get through. I like it as it is,but it doesn't match the rest of the trail as far as technical difficulty at all. Those 2 trails are a big tourist draw to the area. My drone is an original DJI mini. I have a mini 3 pro on preorder!!! 😁
